What happened mate? Im 18 so a diesel barge was a strange choice, itching for an RS now! Yeah they're reps :( I agree guys, but as said the bonnet isnt in the best of condition and I think it looks okay. The majority of them look shite, but on a tidy black car meh :)

Epic bubbling coming through at the end of the bonnet, this hides it. I personally think they look okay on black cars :)

After selling my 1.2 clio, I upgraded to a Mk4 Golf 1.9TDi PD115. Would of liked a 130 but hey ho! I know it's nothing new and its all been done before, but I like it :) Yes, they are replicas.

I've read you can undo the 8 rear beam bolts (4 on each side) and shift the car over if that makes sense. I plan to do it soon as the poke is winding me up, especially when it catches arch. Looks epic though, I wasnt sure on the wheels when you first posted them but look great on!

End up costing more than a Ph2! I can't insure one til October mate, besides I've just spent a fair amount of the golf.. Insurance is about £1600 on a 172. I'd much prefer a Ph2, maybe they will come down a bit by October. Yay, its doable! It looks very nice mate.

I'll be 19 when I buy it, still around £1600 mind. I'm not sure on Ph1, I think I'd end up making it look more and more like a Ph2. :rasp:

I'm 18 atm and drive a Mk4 Golf Gt TDI, I love it but I need something fun! My golf should be worth at least 2k, so is it possible to get a good example of a 172 for that price? Cheers

OEM > Tat. Lose all stickers and transformer s**t and it will look nice. New numberplates, colour code, etc.
