have you checked the belt tightness, there is a little bolt on the charger motor thing, can't think what its called cos im drunken, its at the front of the engine, 10mm spanenr and tightnen it up some more

get some petrol and put it on the seat, and ignite with a match then it should be easy to remove once the material has been burned away

your probably got a cylinder / spark plug problem, and too much petrol going into the cat, which will make it stink, my car did this when runnign on 3 cylinders as ht lead broke.

not really, if you have fitted some cross over box (which you sort of mentoned above) you still won't really get the sound your after. best just get a new HU with sub out. I had similar problems, but now i have alpine x100 it's perfect

all depends on the music, and as the HU doesn't have a sub output you won't get proper bass control on all songs

i got some, they are good, as you can peal the letters off and change the spacing yourself
