you can just do this from dvla website if you have last mot cert, and chassis no. but i doubt it will be different as the car probably has the original speedo, why change the engine and speedo, just change the engine.

why don't you complain to whoever fitted the wheels, as you said you had them fitted !! so you obviosuly didnt' do it yourself, and don't know how to change wheels yourself, so best just drive around to lots of small garages and ask them to remove it as you won't be skilled enough to remove the...

crappy blue clio 1.2 with lexus lights, and shotgun exhaust, heading from crowthorne to bracknell, haha what a chav, he thinks its a sports car the way he drives.
its only worth about 4k your advertising it well to high, people don't want / cant afford 2.0 litres of renault. if u want to sell it you gotta drop your price, look at the price guide on auto trader, then look at where your advertising it, in some place for chavs to buy cars, and 1.2...

are you sure its not just the starter (not just an imobilizer problem) have you tried to bump start it ? i would try bump starting it first, if you have a 2nd car just tow it for a few feet and see if it starts, if it does then its not an imobilizer problem,

the c clamp things carnivous was talking about are what is normally used for standard 172/182 side skirts, plus some pop rivets on the bottom of the skirts. the c things are just flexible plastic things like what hold the door bump strips on.
its an old car, its never going to be how it originally was, what year is it, 53 plate ? thats still 5 years old, things bend and warp with heat, just live with it or have the gearbox renewed
