Welcome to the forum mate! My old car, look after Boxer ;) it's a good solid car, and had all the shocks etc. done recently so I tried my best to look after it. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, be interesting to see what you do with it. :)
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Right, testing the water..
2005 (05) Clio 182 in Arctic Blue with both Cup packs and the usual leather seats, climate etc.
Covered 83k, full service history with belts done in 2010/20k miles ago (albeit the last service filled out by myself, but have a...
Looks great. I couldn't be bothered with driving it like that but it looks awesome, fair play. :)
Seeing as I've finished uni and all that I'm looking to be a bit more sensible and have been tempted by a 1.9 TDi Bora 130...apparently they're the pick of the bunch in terms of power, tuning...
You snooze you lose, eh! ;)
Cheers for the advice so far everyone. The consensus is so far that adding 'the' at the beggining works just fine, but as Addicted said, I'd be much happier with brandname.co.uk and .com, but it's just not possible.
I'm also considering thinking of a short two -...
Kind of excited - they know what Forzas all about and what made it succesful, and they do mention the physics etc. all being the same, so I'm hopeful! I've always thought open-world racing games were quite cool and made a nice change from the monotony of a lot of circuit racers, it was just...
In the process of starting up a little venture - brand name all decided etc. and just about to get a website going. Now, 'mybrandname'.co.uk is free, however the .com isn't. It goes to some random Japanese website (that's completely different to what I wanna use it for, so no worries about...
The rattle with metallic 'tinkle' noise is exactly what I've got pretty much - I've narrowed it down to the join between the cat to the rest of the system. I had it bodged and it went away for a few weeks, came back again. This part of the system and the join you've already done are the common ones.
Yeah, I mean I've got no real issue with them as they do work, but it's annoying me that they don't work as they should...also sometimes I wish I could have a slightly slower intermittent speed/slightly faster depending on circumstances. On my old Corsa you could set your own interval speed, so...
Nope, never. It's only a small thing as they do still work fine, it's just like driving a car without auto wipers! Getting round to sorting all the little niggles out now though and this happens to be on the list, so seeing what can be done.
Regarding the Durex, I really don't love my Clio that...
From what I've seen, there is no real alternative to the gel it's originally fitted with - I've seen various kinds used, even ibuprofen, but seems it all dries out and everything stops working again. Any reccomendations for gel?
Mainly I ask as I would've thought they'd behave erratically if...
I seem to have a weird problem with my auto wipers. The issue is that when in the auto position, they operate in the same way that standard intermittent wipers would, wiping at a set interval of a few seconds whether it's raining or not. I've followed the instructions in the manual, twiddled the...
Due to other commitments I can't go with CS, so I imagine the list is this now:

Cheers tony, I just assumed people said that because it made doing both sides a bit quicker...does jacking both sides up drop everything down so it lines up without needing compression then?
Bit of a bump...had a crack at this today. Only had the time to do one in the end (rain stopped play), and ran into a problem I was hoping someone could clarify?
Getting the strut off was a bit of a hassle...it sprung down a little bit and there didn't seem enough room to wiggle it...
Thanks Wick. :) I admit I'm pretty pleased with its condition considering age/mileage etc. but there are a few things that need tidying up (but then I'm a perfectionist and there's always something!).
Yeah, it's slightly childish but I've never had a car on this mileage before, so couldn't...
The Clio finally rolled over a milestone on the clock....

....so decided to take advantage of the weather to treat it to a wash and to finally get round to taking some half-decent photos.
I'm a pretty keen...
Cheers...alignment has now been ruled out, as it's been to a couple of places and they've all said it's aligned fine. I'm going to have a poke around this week when I get a spare moment...although I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to get them replaced anyway! The rears have been done, and with it on 80k...
Yesterday. You were parked in front of me on a road down by the park - lovely car! Had a yellow sticker on the bootlid, not sure what it was for - seemed to be made up of the letters A, W and maybe a T (or a cross?).
I seem to see a fair few RenaultSports around but they hardly ever seem to be...
Thanks guys, excellent advice as usual. :)
Is there an easy way to check if my handling issues would be my front shocks? As mentioned, I replaced the rears last year and it sorted out the back end, but the car still feels like the front end skips over rough ground and generally doesn't feel...
Mine started doing exactly this with a standard exhaust system - as far as I know, it's coming from where the cat joins the rest of the system. I had it bodged and it lasted a few weeks, but started to come back now.
Thanks a lot guys...I guess I wasn't searching far enough back! Appreciate the links. :)
James28, that was the bit that was worrying me mainly, haha! In that case seems pretty straightforward, although Dave makes a good point if anyone can clarify it! Love how helpful CS is tbh, I'm sure I've...
