Mine did this exact same thing a few weeks ago. I took the rear lights out, took the bulb holder, bulbs out etc. and cleaned every single contact with contact cleaner and made sure I put everything back properly. Seemed to solve it.
If your current circumstances allow you to, then do it. I decided to swap a diesel Corsa for my 182 as I came to the realisation I'm young, have no mortgage/kids/wife etc. relying on my money to make ends meet, so there's plenty of time for being 'sensible' when I'm much older.
Unless getting...
Yeah, I read your 182 thread, it looked pretty handy by the end but I'm sure a VX220 is in a different league. VX220s are pretty thin on the ground too so if I see one I'll give it a cheeky wave :rasp:
Silver phase 1 172, saw you heading towards the Coombe Hill junction by The Swan about an hour ago out the corner of my eye. Looked like some nicely dished alloys on a very clean looking car. I'm sure I've posted about spotting you before in a similar place!?
I haven't renewed yet since I've owned the 182 (just changed cars on an existing policy so paid a few hundred extra), but doing a few preliminary searches the cheapest I've found is 1100 or so...it's not until January next year though.
Sky refused to insure me on one because of my age/no...
Between about 6.15 - 6.30 just now a silver non-cup packed 182 went past me on the dual carriageway before the roundabout, then went towards Longlevens I believe? Then coming the opposite way was an Inferno 182 (could have been Trophy - just saw a flash of red and had sunnies on!), wondering if...
Some fool in a van was in the wrong lane at a roundabout and just cut in front of me, no indication or anything. I gave a blast of the horn, more automatic reaction than anything...he slams the van into reverse and starts driving at me. I get on the horn again, just to get peoples attention if...
I'm a student with a 182. I'm not paying anywhere near 1800 on insurance though, and hope I won't come renewal next year. I did consider a 197, but then realised I'd have very little cash to put away in case of problems etc., so decided to go for a 182 and have some cash left over. I also only...
i heard 23.54 per quarter if you let them install a glowing Apple logo into your forehead.
But in honesty, no one knows. *Probably* roughly the same as iPhone 4 contracts now, with perhaps the upfront cost of the phone being a little more expensive (but only going on the trend so far). In...
If you have a screen to hook it up to, 100 percent go for the 13". I bought the 13" MBP and have no problems at all editing images, using illustrator etc. on it every day. Naturally it can get a little cramped sometimes compared to a bigger screen, but then a 15 inch will sometimes feel a bit...
Haha, I don't normally see any around at all...I did about 250 miles driving to the Welsh coast and back, and another 50 driving around when I was there over the bank holiday weekend, and only saw 1 other RenaultSport of any sort, and it was a 182. Surprised as thought they were fairly...
Too commercialised? The Gymkhana stuff has only ever been adverts for DC and trying to flog the latest shoes etc. ;) Although I'm assuming you mean they're being a bit less subtle about it now?
Agreed about his car control, I guess I'm just a big kid and will always be impressed by lots of...
The other day when I tried to close the bonnet a rubber washer flew off...turns out it's the washer that goes around the bonnet switch, and the little lip on the bottom of the washer that secures it in the hole is perished, so it won't really stay on.
Anyone know the best place to get a...
The cars aren't on there to be reviewed in those parts of the show - they're just props. In this case Clarkson got the shouty-looking, in your face Citroen, Hammond got the small and buzzy 500 and May got the 'boring' Clio - they just make the cars an extension of the presenters. In race...
Haha what time was this!? I was driving around Cheltenham and Bishops Cleeve last night and saw neither you or the Iceberg...! I'm determined to get a spotted one of these days ;)
All last night!
First one was just getting to the dual carriageway off the Combe Hill junction (past The Swan pub and Murco petrol station), number plate was custom and started with 'R5...' I believe?
Second one was Bishops Cleeve (can't remember where exactly, maybe near GE Aviation).
Third...
If it looks steamed up its probably cos it's coming away from the glass and air etc. has got between the sensor and the screen...as I say people have taken it off completely and smeared ibuprofen/other clear gel on it to stick it back on, but as I doubt how long term that is, and as the lights...
Check it from the outside to see if it looks 'cloudy'. My auto wipers have a mind of their own because the sensors coming away from the screen slightly, causing a 'cloudy/milky' look when it should be completely clear, and should be able to see clearly defined gel spots all the way around the...
I had a green mk 1 like that! 1.2 Versailles ;) I started to think about going down the route you went, but it needed too much money spending fixing various bits so got rid...kinda wish I had done it, but then I remember how glad I was to get a new car! ;)
Yeah I'd love to practice some car...
Ahh to be a fresher again! :rasp:
Yeah, I only got the 182 just after Easter, so probably wouldn't have noticed it about...also tended to either find an out the way space to avoid dents, or park in the front car park to avoid having to pay and display. ;) I'd be up for a photo-sesh meet or...
