I have seen a few V6 with US plates on photos. One of them was even of pink color:)
I the video it look more like he was just wondering how could something like a clio take him over in the end of a curve.
Finally managed to get a brand new oem exhaust. Painted it with heat resistant color prior to instalation too make it a longer life.
Its heaven and hell compared to the K-tec Stealth exhaust. This is so quiet, I love it.
You dont have to take the driveshaft off to know what is yours, just look at it...22 vs 44 is a massive difference. Just get under the car or get one wheel down (front) and count...it is enought to count on a quarter of the wheel 5-6 is 22ring, 10-11 is 44ring.
22ring
44ring
I agree with MickPM, dont panic...get it on a CLIP and think about what you will see.
The brake sign (also handbrake), is on also when you have low level fluid.
Does the engine symbol blink before you even turn the engine over (just turn the key, dont start)? Then its some electric thing...
Hi, I had the same problem (the whole screw spinning), but I could put a spanner on the bottom (had the airbox removed to and fit the spanner on the top of the Gearbox). It must be not very long, and takes a while to fit.
Maybe someone else has a better sollution.
hi again, finally sorted yesterday. After I was able to lock the wheel properly (with someone braking + the screwdriver in disc), I started to brake tools...so finall winner was:-)
Strange readings on here.
The OP does say he sold it cheap, but does not say if he has told the garage about the faults (we even dont know what faults).
And most of you hope for the worst scenario...
Wow, what a quick response, thanks.
Clio was on the ground and I applied as much power with a bar around 1,5meter, till I either spinned the wheel or moved the car.
I will try to lock the brake, but I dont like the idea very much as I know how hard did I pull the bar. Dont like to break things...
Hi, I would like to have a hint how to unbolt the nut in the hub when changing driveshafts.
I need to change them on my dci100, the one on the right side (the longer one) came off without big problems. Thats maybe because I had a bearing change a year ago.
But the left one is not comming loose...
I drive the same at work if I go offroad.
I like the sitting position, engine is the same dci110, but due to the gear ratios, it was a bit hard to stick to 2500rpms during the first 1500km.
Otherwise I plan to buy it after 4y from the company. I like it, its simple, you dont have to watch...
Good thread for me, I am having the same issue, bought a k-tec stealth with center section (mk2 to be exact) in May and find it loud. I dont have a decat.
I have taken it apart 2 times, checked for leaks, replaced the clips with stronger ones (from iveco daily, thats the same diameter and looks...
You could try do the mixture by yourself and apply with a brush if you do not have painting equipment. The surface is small, so it is not so hard to do it without any marks.
try to match the silver....if its a bit lighter, apply some little dark laquer. I would play with it till I am satisfied.
Wheels are fine, looking forward to get mine refurbished.
