Don't be silly ? My friend works for Renault warranty I think Renault are well aware of how long to expect from shocks and how many they had back in workshop for shOckies under 20 k .
Genuine rear shocks don't last long !!
Usually a years warranty on parts and labour .
Renault genuine shocks are only expected to last 20k max so maybe 14 months isn't so bad.
I remember struggling to get rear shocks under warranty when owning clio 182 from new
I have a misfire and lumpy idle . Had the car on clip a few days ago and there was no fault stored so they checked connections of plugs leads and everything was ok for 1 day and then it returned . So now having changed the plugs leads and coil and no answer from clip diagnostic , how do I check...
I had a coolant change and afterwards the needle didn't go back to the middle, it sits just under the middle line and jumps up to middle and back down frequently . Today the emissions light flashed on start up then disappeared The car sounds lumpy on idle but it might be exhaust noise it sounds...
I had a quote today but not sure of the price for just the springs as I asked to be quoted on eibach springs and front shocks , to fit the labour was £ 160 thst includes 4 wheel alignment ( swr stirling ) . Currently have the shocks going to order eibachs tomorrow . I thought it could all be...

People go on about the importance of a cam belt change , it means nothing unless it's been done alongside full aux kit . Renault changed the interval for aux pulley to 3 years or 36k I think so it could help the cam belt last , if u don't get the aux belt done in between cam belt changes then I...
My friend works for Renault warranty , they say only to expect 20k max from set of standard rear shocks , it's something thst needs replaced often on 182s particularly in areas with lots of speed bumps etc
I've only ever used continental (8k) and exalto2 (12k) on fronts , didn't fancy the ps3 tyres and seriously think the goodyears are better , haven't a clue how they will wear but I drive my car hard and the goodyears feel so planted on the roads . If I get 10k plus from goodyears I'll be happy .
