I can only compare them with michelins and continentals but i drive my car very hard and the grip is fantastic and never had tyre last do long . I do 20k a year .
Not cheaper still 90-100 fitted
The Goodyear eagle f1 assyrmtric2 Is a better tyre grips amazing and lasts longer than michelins . Driving clio 1*2 for 10 years plus and never come across a better performance tyre . Anyone who says different obviously hasn't tried them
When mine went it was clicking Only on turning right. I had few mechanics check it out and none would commit to what shaft or even if it was the driveshaft . I took a gamble and bought drivers side and it solved my clicking . Passenger side would involve gearbox oil
I drive my car hard all year round . I only ever managed 12-14k out michelins but I've managed 18k on the good years and they are still on 3-4 mm tread . I feel they grip better in all conditions and you dont get as much roll in roundabouts and bends when forcing the issue
The Goodyear eagle f1 assyrmtric 2 is an excellent tyre in the cold and wet . I wonder if any of the people raving about the ps3 Michelin have tried the Goodyear asymmetric
I dint think Renault will have master set of unlocking tools .
You're best bet is local tyre places who have the most experience of removing wheel nuts when people have lost or missing their removing nut .
Unless living in the highlands of Scotland there is no need fir winter tyres . The weather in Scotland is comparable to England such as lakes Pennines Yorkshire .. All wet places . Any premium tyre should be good enough . The tyre I've found best for all conditions is Goodyear eagle f1...
Had mine replaced today original on 90k , it wasn't slipping and was working fine but it was heavy and sticky . Turns out the release bearing was stuck
Hi , my clutch is really heavy just now and I'm due to replace it but the noise coming from the bell housing from the actuating arm is worrying me ... Someone suggested to me it's the bushes inside the arm might need lube . Is this the cause of my heavy and unsmooth clutch ?
Thanks
Just remember to swap the motors over, the motor for the jets probably needs much more power than the wipers, when I replaced mine I found the motor that wouldn't work the jets was powerful enough to work the windscreen and I used the new motor for the jets .
I went about fixing mine today .. A replacement motor seemed to do the trick making the headlight jets spray very well but afterwards the headlight jets drip .. Not from the nozzle but from bit that attaches to the bumper :/ it's a continuous drip like a leak or the jets don't close after...
Best to go custom, and if you go the right place they will even do away with the crap exhaust mounts and make their own to work with the exhaust .
i recently had mine done , 2.5 bore with a similar back box to Fred's btm exhaust but mines isn't visible ;)
i think theres a great increase in...
Thanks for the advice ... I'm not to keen on having huge noise and was looking to gain a little more torque lower down as I have custom exhaust which opens up at top end nicely .
Rs2 seems an interesting alternative but I can't seem to find who sells them or if anybody offers a supply and fit...
Thinking of getting itb's to use on standard engine on my clio 182 with no other mods such as cams , I've recently had belts done .
i read jenvey is the better itb's but ktec also do a kit
Any negatives about them ? Does the car run and idle fine after remap
thanks
I bought these tyres and have them all round, I believe they are made in 2 different places and the ones from Germany being the better . It says on the sidewall where they are made .
i rate these tyres highly in both dry and wet .
Recently had a new suspension of standard shocks and eibach sportline springs and went to get my tracking done today and was was told it was we'll out and they couldn't get it aligned and required more time to investigate . On the way home the car developed a clunking droning noise when coming...
