Soft pedal is for fannys, removes the feel from the pedal on the mk1's IMO. Genuine cable, correct routing and new clutch and it'll be lighter than you can imagine.
Bad news about the bearings, are you certain its a bottom end knock, they shouldnt just *go* like that, especially as your engines only on 28k or so! WOndering if oil pressure has dropped off or silicon has clogged the pickup, did the oil warning light flicker on at all?
Please upload the...
Move the sensor further away, ive no end of crank signal errors and missfires and although im not using omex (i am using standalone...), they all seems to be slightly picky about the signal they recieve.
I unbolted the front sesor bolt and raised the front edge by about 1mm, all missfiring...
Should be able to fire up the car without any interior loom.
Just needs to provide the Omex loom with 12v, a switched ignition live (however you can use a 12v straight from the battery for testing purposes), and be able to supply the started solenoid with 12v's.
No!
Once the engine has been cranked or turned over for a few seconds (after a cambelt change) the belt tension is automatically even'd out straight away. HOWEVER the belt should have perfect tension ditribution when the cambelt was fitted anyway, by rotating the whole pulley system with the...
Ahhh ill just go sit in a corner :(

Errrrrrrrr because you seem to have advertised it in your topic title, even though like you say you are just hear to about other F4RT's and their power.
Cool baiting Bro.
(unless it has been lolchanged by a mod, in which case ignore)
I dont understand this, firslty i bet you have wired that straight into a narrowband sensor which is lolpointless, and secondly there arent even any numbers on the guage to signify what sort of AFR's you are hitting.
Most people would suggest using a sump plug adaptor but classically on the F4's they point straight downwards and are not rear facing like F7's, so its a little dangerous if something knocked it off youd lose your sump full of oil and potentially nuke your engine.
Other option would be a oil...
Just priced up and booked up a bottom end rebuild for my engine, £60 for Glaze bust / minor hone, £150 for the piston rings and £45 to have them gapped correclty. Using the crank beaings and oil pump from my know good engine. £250 is pretty fair for a refresh BE imo.
As for timing tools keep...
Non VVT Pulleys go with Non VVT cams (i.e some catcam variants), wouldnt bother trying to block the holes the cams if you are staying with standard profile, seems like wasted effort.
