Vista doesn't have spreadsheet, word processor etc

I can't find the spreadsheet and word processor programs on my laptop. I thought these would be standard on vista home premium. I wasn't expecting MS Office or anything, but I need access to spreadsheet, word processor and powerpoint.

Vista is just an Operating System, so won't come with that.
You need to install an Office package.

www.openoffice.org for a free one.

I've never seen that standard on any version of windows, just the very basic wordpad.

Download StarOffice, it's a free ulternative to MS office.

OpenOffice is ok. Star Office is good to. You can get that for free if off the sun website for free if you tell them you are a student!

Vista doesnt come with office at all. I like office 2007 on vista, works pretty well.

PS - No pirate talk here, everyone is legal as no mention of copies were mentioned. Mine is all legit, expensive yes, worth it, nah.
