If the downclock is about 100-200MHz as suggested (13-25%) then it will bring the Xbox One down to about half as powerful as the console of which we shall not name.
Only rumour at the moment, but it's coming through from various sources that Microsoft are advising developers they are going to have to downclock the GPU as they can't get the yields high enough.

It certainly is comparable to Star Wars - great universe, rubbish story. I gave up after Reach - just hackneyed nonsense. Plus the blandest lead character in gaming, possibly ever.
Looking forward to this - couldn't decide between this and Remember Me, but the reviews have swung it!
I'll admit that is much better on the 360 - however, for me personally it doesn't really matter. I only tend to play single player games these days. That is why I'll probably be choosing a PS4.
Absolutely. I was sceptical to begin with, but it's frankly an amazing service. The 'free' games are worth the price alone. I now have more games than I have time to play, and I've paid £11 so far.
People are forgetting that although the 360 was much better in the first few years, PS3 has pretty much caught it up (and overtaken it imo) in terms of sales, UI experience, online support and Plus being much better than Live Gold.

Seriously though, new hardware is exciting and I'll be interested in seeing what this turns out like. My gut feeling is that it'll miss the mark for me personally, though.
Mine would be great apart from the fact a mate knocked it out of my hand at Rock City a few weeks ago. A hairline crack across the bottom quarter now. It went from quite a height onto a hard floor, to be fair.

I nearly exploded when I saw people saying in here that there hadn't ever been any Live downtime, until someone mentioned the 2008 incident. I remember they gave us the worst XBLA game in existence as an apology. Two weeks the service didn't work for!
