ChavyBoy. Gave up with the train to London everyday. Too unreliable.
Started driving to the City every day a year ago. Would not change it for the world. Much more relaxing, less stressful and quicker!!!!!

Not me,,,,
Usually seen prowling the A13 @ 6 AM with the white van men in the to-London rush.
Still do not seem to be as fast as F reg Astra Max vans with 6 up and 5 sleeping.

Captain,
I do not like the gearbox at all. Too wooly (technical term) and wobbly. The travel is waayyyyy tooo long. Being 63", I sit back, but then find changing to 3rd/5th right @ the end of the reach. It all seems a bit out of sync.
The Imprezas throw is also too long. This is cured, by...
Captain,
I wholeheartedly agree with your viewpoint, particulary re using a throttle as a switch not a valve. Having done rallying and racing over the years, one gets to learn that pedal action is not binary, i.e. 1 or 0, and that a pedal balancing act is as important and synonymous with...

It was going to be mine, paid the deposit in June for Sep 28th delivery but they could not deliver in the end on this agreed date and I needed a car for the daily crawl into the City along the A13, as I sold the runabout Ka on the 27th. But rung round different Renault dealers and found another...

Sorry for the confusion, I have new racing buckets for the CUP in my workshop ready to go in, but am just waiting for a Clio subframe from them.
If I ripped them out an cut the wiring, then the seat belt alarm would sound constantly and the air bag light would stay on. I can by-pass the air...
1,500 miles now and averaging 31.5 MPG.
Loosening up nicely now. Cant wait to loose the seats, however it has that annoying seat belt alarm, so looks like ill have to rip up the standard seats with a knife to pull out all the wiring!!!!!

Its a clutch, throttle issue. I had the same thing when learning to drive the Clio, the Impreza and Elise are totally different in terms of pedal, gearchange feel.
I was maxing out and then changing up and the thing would rev its bollox off and sometimes I would get stuck in a gear change...
