    wheel weights

16" Clio Cup Turini is 8 Kgs. Oz Ultraleggera in same size is 6.8 Kgs. Not sure what the 17" Ultraleggera will be though. And if it requires a 40 profile tyre I wouldn't go near. 45 is bad enough on my 16".

    Tracking/4 wheel alignment

Northampton Motorosport managed to adjust my rears as from factory or a previous owner the rears had more toe in (I think) one side to the other. Unless that couldn't be adjusted and they had to compensate at the front. Either way good set up is well worth it and usually on decent...

    Tracking/4 wheel alignment

Tracking is generally only front wheels. Not everywhere has equipment to do 4 wheel alignment. It is different. I used Northampton Motorsport when I got my coilovers and they dialled in ecerything as best they could.

    wii in stock amazon

Order mine at 10:10 when I was advised by email they only had 14 at the normal price. Paid the £8 or whatever it is for express delivery and now have the Royal Mail tracking number so guess I will be getting mine tomorrow. Can't wait now and I wasn't that bothered before but glad I ordered it.

    What oil?

Manual states 10w40 and think Haynes manual has some tie in with Duckhams so they recommend QXR. Had my Valver for 80k miles and been through a bit of oil in that time. Duckhams QXR is what National Tyres use and they are cheap. Never had a problem with that and they used to do change inc...

    Cleaning injectors

Always used Forte stuff and readily available on ebay. Used additives without a problem for over 80k miles. Used to use STP and Wynns but Forte seems to offer more and is used by most garages, which is why its trade only to stop people applying them incorrectly or too frequently. Optimax/V...

And found a 7 per cent off voucher today. Think it was Swinton1, listed as 10 per cent on a forum but was 7 per cent when I tried it.

Best 37 or 40 LCD tv out there????

Philips aren't the most reliable apparently. Inherant problems. I was looking at the 9831. Daft that it is £3500 list and can get less than £2000 from some ebay shops. Check www.avforums.com out. Sony Bravia range are supposed to be very good LCD's at the mo but I never go by magazine...

    TV Info Needed

Check out www.avforums.com as almost everything, including where to buy cheapest is covered there. Also worth trying a pricematch with John Lewis, as they often beat other prices and offer a free 5 year warranty on all TV's. Philips are apparently quite unreliable so would avoid. SOny...

    PE2's vrs P-Zero Nero's ???

GSD3's for me too. Would rather sacrifice some dry handling for better wet handling. And never had a problem wet or dry with the F1's.

    Blackcircles £8 Voucher Code

They are probably still more expensive than MyTyres but this was emailed to me earlier: So here is an £8 voucher to try us, valid until November 30th 2006. Feel free to pass it on to your colleagues, friends or family. The voucher code to use is ENC219

    Cheapest 195/45/16 Tyres

I got my Eagle F1's for less than £50 a corner at Mytyres. Then £15 cash to get my local tyre place to fit and balance all 4.

STP Injection Cleaner - I HATE YOU!!!

Never had a problem myself with the STP stuff. And would have thought better in removing 44k miles of dirt than V Power would. Unless you have run on V Power/Optimax since day one there should be no need to cuse additives if the petrol contains it.

    Spigot rings - safety question?

I got some off ebay for some wheels I sold that were from a VW but ended up on a Clio. Centre bore the only difference. These are on ebay and will fit IIRC...

Valver - mis-firing early in the morning

The coolant temp sensor is actually a sensor that feeds the injectors dependent on temperture, so could be that. ISCV is bound to be coked up. Both are simply jobs that anyone can do themselves. If changing the coolant sensor, thread new one in by hand as it is brass/copper and soft. If...

What checks/tests can i do to an engine that im interested in buying???

It could be 20k or 120k. How are you to know. As with any second hand engine, you cannot rely on the history so I would spend the money on getting it worked on whilst it is out (cheaper that way) and so you know what condition it is in before it goes into your car. Cambelt will need...

Know its been covered a million times but are Goodyears better than Michelin

Eagle GSD3 F1's won the EVO tyre test a way back. Although the test just happened to be on Goodyear's test track. No such test has been carried out since, and new tyres have come along like the PE2. I have used Bridgestone SO2's which I still think are the best tyre ever made, SO3's which...

Valver - mis-firing early in the morning

I would look at coolant temp sensor (£10 from GSF) and also the Idle Control Valve which you can clean with carb cleaner. I did all you have done on mine and still I had intermittent problems. Now all gone touch wood. Lambda is also a sensor worth changing if you have done over 100k.

    Shure

Ultimate Ears are also worth looking at. I have the Superfi 5 pro but the Superfi 3's can be had quite cheap on ebay, IRO of £30 plus postage.

    42" Plasma TV

I'd personally go with a panel, as if you are worried about HD that will be from another source and not the in built tuner. Better to keep everything seperate too for upgradability and replacement if something goes wrong. I waiting till we move in to our new place before buying a Fujitsu...

    v-power

TBH I doubt if using V Power for the first time would help clean any crud that has been accrued. It may be better at keeping everything clean from new but would have thought some Forte stuff would be a better option to clean the whole fuel system. Then try V Power but think it may be a waste...

    Cheap insurance try these!

They aren't much cheaper than Adrian Flux quoted me and they did not even ask for my Mods. Ended up going with Flux for agreed value of £4500 on my Hybrid.

    Turinis or Superleggars?

16" Clio Cup Turini is 8 Kgs. Oz Ultraleggera in same size is 6.8 Kgs. I went for the latter in Graphite colour. Got offered a silly deal from Halfords so 4 new Ultraleggeras cost me less than second hand Turinis go for on here......

    Electric Polisher

That's what I use mine for. Wouldn't dream of using it for anything more although might be useful on swirl marks with scratch x or something like that which you do by hand anyway. Guess there is nowt in between the Cosmo and a PC, it's one or the other depending what you want to do with it.
