Think you will find that the car should be run on 97 ron or whatever it states on filler cap/handbook. By putting in normal 95 ron you will just be making the car not perform as it is supposed to. 97 ron SUL is like 2p a litre more expensive at sainsbury's, so why not use it over 95 ron. You...
BMC also do their own kit. Just remove teh securing screws and the carbon tube comes away from teh vector part inside and then you simply coat with the cleaner, rinse through, dry and then oil.
16" Clio Cup Turinis weigh 8 kilos each as verified bys omeone who was selling them without tyres.
I have gone for Oz Ultraleggeras is Graphite to be different. Got them with the tyres not fitted as selling them on so can weigh the wheel to get actual weight in 16". Oz claim 6.7 Kilos, 7.2...
Spray plus gas on the brake unions first and let soak in. If like my fronts on the Hybrid they won't budge and will need new copper front brake lines all teh way to reservoir to get new braided hoses fitted.
Have used the Top End Treatment, Coolant Flush, Power Steering Treatment, Motor Flush, Gas Treatment and Injector Cleaner over the years. I find the Forte range more comprehensive tham nost but Wynns isn't bad and STP worked too.
Additive like Forte, STP, Wynns etc are all good IMO. Forte being the best I have used and often available for a good price on ebay. Forte Top End Treatment is good for noisy tappets.
Fuel cleaners are supposed to clean whole system from tank to injector. Which can get crudded up over time...
And its funny how the small signs on the pumps are labelled V-Power where the main Sign displaying the prices on the forecourt still displays Optimax.....
Optimax, V-Power is 5p a litre more than normal Shell or Sainsburys 97 Ron where I live. So £2.50 extra a week or £125 extra a year.
I would rather run Sainsbuys 97 Ron like I do TBH and use a cleaner like Forte every 6k which costs less than a tenner a year. My car was remapped on...
Pulleys I would steer away from Kent or Piperas these seem to be quite minimalist in terms of metal used and seem to strees easier. I opted for catcams.
Cams, Kent have failed but then apparently afew have and whether its the pulley at fault or the cam is a question mark? I had Billet Kents...
I took my Hybrid to Chip Wizards who does a proper ECU remap. Took it there with 180 bhp on RR using the 1.8 BBPT chip I had from my Valver and came out with 190bhp. So 10bhp from a very high regarded engine remapper getting the most out of the bigger valves, headwork and cams, and lightend...
Check oilman website/post on here. Group buy going on too.
Silkolene is one of teh best but expensive. If you can get Fuchs then they are same company and sometimes easier to get from Motorist Shops. Good thing with Silkolene though is that it is 5 litres where lots come in 4 litres...
Don't think that is the case TBH. Remember someone saying they was just because Speedline advertise their Flowforming as so presumed that all Turini's were. Don't think Renault have ever stated that it is Flowformed.
An example of this: http://www.potn.co.uk/speedline_c1_3894.htm
Had one...
IIRC Cambelt is approx £137 plus VAT from BB, and other Renault tuners shouldn't be more. Waterpump can be as expensive if you forget your locking wheel nut key like I did.
Would suggets you take it to one of the main Renault tuners who see these cars all the time rather than a Renault...
All depends on size with some sizes more common and cheaper than others. Hence why your Scenic ones are probably dearer than your Clio. Like my gf's cpolo requires 195/55/15 which is £25 a corner more expensive than 195/50/15 on my Clio.
But the my Clio should have 185/55/15 and the main...
Yeah all Oz in 16" are labelled up at £524.99 at the moment. If the till price says different, like the one I went to stated £630, they have to honour the ticket price.
16" were actually cheaper than the 15". Then get 10 per cent off Halfords Vouchers through my work discount scheme so got...
Just got some Ultralegerra by Oz instead. 16" Graphite which Halfords had marked up at 524.99 and I got 10 perc ent off, thats including some Hankook Tyres but they won't last long till I get some Michelins.
Was gonna get Turinis but very common, more expensive and heavier than the Oz wheels.
