If your unsure then you will regret waisting your money modding. Save for a cup.
I was in the same situation as you 2 years ago, got my clio wanted to mod it but saved my £££ now i got a lovely 206 2.0Gti with the money i would have waisted.
Haha my mate had a bit of a problem like that. Only worse, he could turn the key off and take it out and the car carried on running. :o he had some of the wires wrong, sorry doesnt help you but i thought it was funny.
Dont bother telling them, i just got me eibach springs (30mm lower) and they are just plain black. Once they are on and dirty how will they know they are lower?? Elephant want £70 off me, so they can go swivel.
Just looking to get the Meguiars 3 stage kit, just wandering what the stage 1 is? is it like a shampoo or something different? says "Stage 1 of the Deep Crystal System This non-abrasive cleaner" should i buy some gold class wash/conditioner aswell?
Oh and some gold class bug and tar remover...
I dont really know either but from what bambam said the other day "kenwood should have stuck to making food processors" then i would guess it wouldnt be the best, depends what you want really. If you just want loudness then probably ok.
Get your own if i were you. I started on my own straight away and have 3yrs NCB now im 20. You will have to pay high premiums sometime, whenever you start your own policy so may aswell be now!?
6x9s shouldnt be used aswell as a sub in the boot, unless you make seperate sealed enclosures for the 6x9s.
For the best system go for components in the front and a sub in the boot. Both of which should be ampd. If you do want some rear fill (no not that kind) then some coaxials in the back...
Bambam What is: JL Audio e4200 £200?? i cant find it anywhere
Also what 17cm comps would you recommend as thats what fit in the front of my 206. for about £150
Cheers.
Does your sunroof leak?? If so then there is probably some water in the motor so it might have packed up.
You can open it manually, if you take off the plastic thingy (technical word) where the sunroof switch is housed then you will be ably to see the motor and on the bottom of that is a hole...
Cant explain that matey, all i know is that when my central locking and imob broke they changed the decoder but not the reciever as the reciever was working fine. As Jay say maybe yours is very early? mine was a mk1 phase 3.
Cheers people, yeah clio_bus thats exactly what i was thinking. Im only going for 35mm so if in the future i wana go lower i will then opt for a new full system with shocks, but for now spax will do.
Ok matey if you need it then pm me, its brand new.
RT valver, as Jay and i have said, the recievers are not programmed to the system. That is what the de-coder is for and that is what was wrong with mine, i had to have the decoder replaced then then keys reprogrammed to the new decoder.
The recievers are not programmed to certain keys. They are a universal, off the shelf parts that just plug in. There is a de-coder inside the system somewhere else that does the work before sending the signal to the ECU.
Ok just wandering if they are a good make as the 206 drivers only recommend eibach but spax are £45 and eibach are £105.
So are spax any good or should i stump up the money for the eibach. In general i mean not on about the 206 springs as you wouldnt know.
Cheers Phil
LivinLegend i have a brand new recieved i bought from renault 1 week before i sold the car. They told me mine was broken so i bought a replacement but the original wasnt broken, it was the whole imobilised sysem.
So you can have it for £20, brand new got it out of the packet, fitted it, it...
