Yeah the piece by the sunroof is just the cover for the RC locking reciever, pretty sure if the cover is missing its broken off. You will need a new reciever which costs £36 from renault (i bought 1 today) Oh and that button down by the gear stick is just to lock or unlock the central locking...

I got the same problem with my RT at the moment. had it towed to renault yesterday, but they cant do anything til 2morrow hopfully it just needs re-progamming and its not a problem with the ECU like they said it might be.

I expect the badges are held on with pins, and to find out about mods why not give your insureres a quick ring. You will be 100% sure then.

Ok then people i need some help. My imobiliser has buggered up and the car is in a local autoelectrics, but they cannot do anything more with it as the imobiliser signal that goes throught the car is encripted so has to be delt with by renault. My problem is the nearest dealer is 45miles away...

I dont have a lock in the glove box. my car is a 1996 1.4 RT, do the dealers know the code thing that you input with the accelerator pedal and the button on the end of the wiper stalk?? Cheers Peeps

Cambelt wont cost much mate, bout £60 mine was coz its not as complicated as cars like the valver.

HELP my f**king sunroof has leaked again today and the water must have got to my central locking and imobiliser sensor. So now the bloody thing doesnt work so my car is not working. Is there any way to disable the imobiliser as my car is stuck at work in the car park and i need it. It did it...
