yes it certainly does get hot when compressed. But I am saying that as the turbo is also alot hotter than a charger the air will pick up more heat when it pass through.
A set intercooler will only give a set temperature drop at fixed flow rates so higher temperature at the inlet will still be high at the outlet compared to a a charger which probably has lower temperatures.
I moved into my new place a month ago and had started with an o2 dongle but that was s**t, since got a three one and once it connects I get 1Mb connection. Only £10 a month for 1GB on pay as you go.
My gearbox has lasted 55k miles, around 35k of those with the turbo running at 220bhp+. I know people in standard cars who have had at least 3 in that mileage....
Turbo power is more fun I guess as the torque is immense, makes it feel quicker than it is if you understand me?. Just stamp on the...
i had the exhaust housing replaced as the wastegate wasnt sealing correctly. my engine rebuild was only due to worn piston rings so shouldnt have had any swarf in the engine if that's what you mean?
there is oil around the outer exhaust side near the large circlip. i wonder if the smoke is...
yep thats what i thought as ktec did a compression check only very recently. How would i go about confirming it needs a rebuild? It's alot of work for to remove so want to make sure before i do it.
Anyone got any info on the location and removal please? I think I am looking at the right thing, but cannot see how to remove it.
It's on my 182 btw. thanks.
level might be good, but if pump is knackered you might not be getting the correct oil pressure meaning parts of the engine could be starved of oil. Dont wanna sound like a granny, but I wouldnt drive it till i knew exactly what was causing it.
02 simplicity just under £20 a month, i think it's 600 min + tonnes of texts + unlimited web browsing.
dont want to tie myself in for anymore contracts so went for this deal.
I dunno one side of me says keep it, but the other say give it back. £200 will make alot more difference to the guy than it will to you. I am talking from experience being made redundant a few weeks ago, £200 could give the guy a few weeks shopping money.
Karma.....
i have had brand new rear discs and pads fitted and I leave the car for a week of not being moved and the rear brakes have binded quite badly then i get a grinding sound for a few miles when braking.
Anyone else think this is not right? Or is it completely normal?
