serious question, it wouldnt be too hard to bolt all the bits onto the engine. Turbo is already there and GDI have all the bits for the charger.
I would lose the aircon for definite.
;)
Would it be worth it?
I am thinking it will eliminate the lag and produce big power.
Anyone done this before? Doesnt have to be a clio, just interested to see if its worth it.
14.7 would be ok if the system was a perfect system with only pressure change , but there are loads of other factors that give you a higher pressure than you would expect.
compression ratio is independent of units. 1 whatever is compressed into 8.5 whatevers.
I have been researching a little into what compression you should get based on theoretical data and my figures are in the right area. plus they are all identical.
I know! But I keep changing my mind, thinking with my little brain instead.
I am starting to make new plans for this,so if it's not sold soon it's getting completely stripped and fitted with buckets.

A few people are viewing next weekend so first to give me cash gets it!
Will offer a small discount to a cliosporter so it stays in the club and i can keep...
I have a techedge wideband lambda sensor and datalogger kit I would be willing to sell.
It has four temperature inputs, a wideband lambda input and a couple other pulse and voltage inputs.
If you want something cheap and custom made go for a national instruments usb datalogger and write a...
Cheap and only a year old.

Open to sensible offers, but this is priced to sell quick.
Spotted a 182 replica in green in copthorne village parked on a drive and a black gold 182 heading out of crawley this evening about 17:15.
Also think I spotted a trophy near the copthorne village roundabout about the same time
I was on my bike struggling up the hill out of creepy crawley.
done a bit of research and a good value is 17 x the compression ration.
Mine are 8.5:1 and getting 150psi on all 4 cyclinders. which gives me 17.7 x 8.5 , so pretty much spot on. Plus they are all reading identical.
I did manage to strip a thread, but it was only on the lower inlet manifold...
I think my plugs are a little tight, using a t handled spark plug remover they wont budge. Is this normal? I wasnt giving it everything as I dont want to strip a thread.
Anyone know if I should just give it more welly?
