look at it this way, the cap charges off the battery, and the battery is charged by the alternator, so if the alternator isnt up to the job then u can add as many caps as you want but itll never make any difference.

its not that hard, but it does take time, specially waiting for each layer to dry. best to keep building up the main shape carefully, and remember this sh*t gets everywhere and when the hardender dries it aint going no where! once youve got the shape to how you want it, you can smooth it off...
i think its partly to do with some people moving on and partly to do with the sheer numbers of people with mk 2s being on the site, if you look at all the willys and valvers that have been sold in this country it doesnt add up to a huge number and im sure there are only a small portion of those...
are u sure u have used the earth wire on the head unit? what type of connectors are u using, if they aint fully sheathed they might be resting on the body work or something.
