anyone used these guys for a road car? they do alot of racing F7 engines, they certainly have the knowledge and experience needed to extract the best power from these engines but no one ever mentions them
TB1 agreed, the thing that amazes me is the CTRs, they have been tested on the same day before and after fitting of an induction kit and chip and they make 20+BHP its astonishing
my willy lump went in chipped,s/s exhaust, induction kit so i have nothing to compare it with but i would be very...
after the williams engine being in for 3 months and less than 2000 miles the 16v gearbox has started being a bit stiff going into 1st and second, if im stationary and i put it into gear once and take it out its fine, but when i go to pull away fairly often its a bit stiff to slot in, what sort...
i expect it might be an imaginary discount to keep everyone happy, althought i did have a repair done on a motor bike of mine during the warranty period but the item wasnt covered and the manufacturer took 50% of the cost (supposedly, i was younger and more nieave then)

my 1800 used to have a much lower operating temp then the williams engine, if there are no side effects then i would like to reduce this, i have seen that BB sell a lower tmep stat. but euro also do two one that opens at 83 and one at 89 does the one BB offer simply open at 83 which is just a...
interesting, i ditched my heat shield a while ago and my clutch sometimes pedal sticks a bit if its been running for a while, its like the pedal is stuck abd the it pops sort of cracks off, wont be long before tha cable snaps i think
i think BenR got a K tech one and im not sure he was 100% happy with it but im not sure, also i dont think hill power dont make thier own anymore so it would be a magnex which i have got on the clio and its very good, but the best for power gains is that company that do mild steel ones, super...
Ben you should have heard that lotus tuned Lada on top gear, it was runing an odd Lancia engine i wasn;t familier with, i think it was a flat 4 twin cam N/A running TBs it was throbbing is the best way i could describe it
i want to race 172 in mine, i know its a guess but if im lucky i could be making 160 BHP when the lighter weight is considered i think mine might give it a good run for its money, it certainly seems fast and i have been driving it for a few months now with the new engine, the noise is fantastic...

i had a decent race with a 106 running high lift cams and exhaust etc and mine was faster (clio 16v with stage 1 willy engine)
nice cars though, it could be closer enough for it to come down to driver skill,
they are quick but an exhaust and induction kit isnt going to make hardly a scrap of...

tyres are new goodyears in 195/50/15,
im not paying £,000s for a LSD because it not worth it on a car of this value,
i hate traction controll, the vauxhall sustems i have experienced are crap, too slow and your beter off learning gentle throttle controll
i guess i have answered the...
i think i have replaced just about everything i need to worry about with the exception of driveshafts/box, im not to worried about the box as there are loads of R19 16v boxs about but what sort of cost is involved in driveshaft problems, i understand its fairly common to have problems with the...
my clio has a stage 1 willy engine in and its quick, but its very raw, power delivery is brutal, lots of wheel spin and torque steer, i thought this was just how big BHP FWD cars are but i went in my mates Intergra Type R and it has slightly more power but its far less of a animal, grip when...
banged new ball joints and track rod ends on today, it went well, the pinch clamps are a pain to split althoguht the bolts came apart without any problem, also when refitting i just slid the ball into the clamp and tightened and then bolted to the wish bone after, seemed to work oK, i was a bit...

Ben that was aimed at I need/got a 16v, he does this bridge speed test on the way to saltford, and hes just got a 16v im bound to see it about just wondered what it was exactly
i know your RT has been lying dormat ever since you reversed it into a wall !
all that kart and car...
R19 16v boxes are cheap and plentyfull and fit straight on, rations are more spaced out evenly to a longer 5th, the willy is closer than a clio 16v but with a longer 5th like the 19, personaly i reckon a R19 is the one to go for, £100 you cant go wrong, but makes sure its OK
hire a hoist, the engine sits nicely on its sump, just dont drop it, i wobbled my williams engine about all over the place, so theres no point buying a hoist when youll only need it a couple of days, if you need to tracsport it whe out 2 big blokes can lift the engine and box together just...
