Yeah... when I alter any settings on the amp (ie press a button) it momentarily stops until the new settings kick in. Flumoxed.

Ive tried this, both on headunit & amp. Sub is an Alpine SWR-1041D Type-R 10" Its really embarassing!!!

JBLs are 5.25", 75W RMS, 225W peak - model GTO505Ce Infinitys are also 5.25" and 45W RMS, 135W peak - model 552i Got an Alpine CDA-7893R head unit which pumps out 60W so all sounds quite good. The amps a digital monoblock 600W Alpine (one of the new ones) with a 10" Alpine dual-voicecoil...

Yeah, fitted into the nicely designed cradle exactly... the new Alpine unit even used the same fixings so it literally took about 2 minutes to swap. Routing the cables took "slightly" longer... getting the dash off was well hard and quite heartbreaking to see it all in a mess...! :oops:

I had a TOAD 850 installed bu Covert in about 2 hours after a recommendation on this website. Also got a shock sensor and total closure fitted and it all works of the original keyfob... bargain. Whats the proximity thingymajug do then? Is it worth it or is it just gonna tempt local kids to set...

Tescos was my best. Used Performance Direct for past 6 years on my old Golf GTi 8v (£447) - their renewal on my 172 was over £600! Tescos came in at £477 including the missus as named driver. But then again Im 32 with 7 years NCB which "kinda" helps...! Old gits advantage eh? :oops:
