Tescos was my best. Used Performance Direct for past 6 years on my old Golf GTi 8v (£447) - their renewal on my 172 was over £600! Tescos came in at £477 including the missus as named driver. But then again Im 32 with 7 years NCB which "kinda" helps...! Old gits advantage eh? :oops:

Im considering one of these too, and may indeed join in your grouop buy if I may, but how good are they? Having driven my 172 now for 3 weeks I definitely think its a license loser unless I either calm down or get a detector... but what about all the claimed false alarms from TrafficMaster...

Could the burning smell possibly be all the foam in the dash... ;) My car had 3 dents in the bonnet (exactly thumb and 2 fingers apart where some donkey had pushed the bonnet shut) and the glovebox doesnt shut properly. Guess I got away with it lightly, couldve been worse. Now Ive got the...

Had my first couple... Astra Coupe Turbo on the A272 coming out of Winchester... he didnt have the bottle (although I must admit I did scare myself a little cos it was my first taste of life above 6000rpm!) Second was a W reg Vectra V6 SRi on the A23 past Crawley... 100mph in 5th, dropped to...

I took it easy first 200 miles then started increasing the rpms and now at 650 miles, it goes like stink! Its too tempting, once you get above the 5k mark it just begs for more and that green GAZ light saying change gear "please"... oh!
