if you put a more powerful engine in, youd need to uprate a lot of the stuff already on the car, a 1.2 isnt built to deal with high power and torque, knowing renault build quality the subframes would probably collapse so youd need to do all that too. really not worth it, save up, sell your clio...
you have to lower it! it sits like a tractor! and it looks like they forgot to finish making the axles the wheels are so far in the arches, theyre ugly standard but nice one modded a little, cant wait to get mine done, just gotta find the time
cool, im out that way for a meeting with work in march, might be worth meeting up mate, ive got exactly the same car, mine is getting lowered in the next few weeks and an alloy refurb
what mileage is yours on?
i have a slightly damaged Fli Swat 5 headunit for sale, does all of the above and lights up orange, but i dont think it will work with steering wheel controls. only thing wrong with it is the clip that clicks into place on the right hand side of the front fascie is broken, and if you go over a...
you really dont need to take it to a garage, just take the rear lights off and theres a bolt that a wire is attached to, take that off, clean up the connector and the area around the hole, and bolt it back on again. remember to disconnect the battery before you do it though.
agreed, i have no idea what area northamptonshire is supposed to fall under but none of the meets are ever local, the closest ive seen was still 90 odd miles away, which tbh, isnt worth it. might be worth suggesting the addition of a new area for northants, cambs, leics and rutland, possibly...
im pretty sure everything about the campus and the later 1.2 16v's is the same, other than the interior which is of its own design, the front bumper which is slightly skinnier, and the rear end, which is minus the plate on the boot. Engine/chassis/set up wise i think its all the same tbh
should fit straight in mate, just need to chop the connectors off the end of the wires and hard wire them in. theres a guide for doing tweeters somewhere in the guides section, theres a few ways of doing it
as above
im not wanting to track it or anything, its just that the brakes on the car at the minute arent as responsive as id like and they dont do well under hard braking. when im due new pads im gonna look into uprating the front discs and pads and think about converting the rears from drums...
Anyone had them? Got some horrible roundabouts around here, particularly in the wet, which we get a lot of, being high ground and in the midlands etc. So want something with good road holding in the wet. They dont do them in 185/55/15 so id have to order 195/50/15, which only makes -1.3%...
theres also a premier inn in corby, right next to a beefeater, just on the outskirts of corby, and the Rockingham Forest hotel, pretty much opposite the Hampton. I live literally a ten minute walk from the hampton, it looks a pretty nice hotel, rockafellas right next to it, damn expensive...
just round the corner from me then mate.
im ben, from corby northants, and heres my 1.2 16v Campus Sport. Its a Sport, just not an RS unfortunately!

try tesco value, im fully comp with them and its reasonable for my age and ive been driving less than a year, no windscreen cover though unless you pay the extra for the standard insurance opposed to the value, but does it really matter, the amount of clios in scrappys means you could easily get...
