Anybody know where i can get a good deal on some silvervisions for a 1.2 16V Campus Sport? Think they are the same as ever MK2 PH2 as the headlights have always been the same.
Cheers for any suggestions
of course you need new "springs and things". its the springs and shocks that affect the ride height. You can either get some lowering springs and new shocks to match, which would lower it about 30-40mm depending on which brand you went for, or you could save up and get some decent coilovers...
try cliospares, or the for sale section on here, someone might be breaking one like yours. If both of those dont find you anything then its a trip to renault etc for prices i guess
agreed, ive been desperate to clean mine! its not the snow thats been the main problem here as it hasnt snowed in days, its just the fact that its so damn cold, ive heard its not good for the paint to wash it when its too cold?
haha, wasnt about that at all. was just amazed at how many "experienced" drivers had crashed/got stuck/slid and others including myself has managed fine.
send me about 2 foot and i wont have to go to work! just need the car park to be inaccessible and theres no point in opening up! lol
it takes a lot for my company to shut a single store, out of 270 odd stores they only closed 1, in scotland because the roof was collapsing because of the weight...
but i was really impressed at how well my clio handled it. Main problem in my area was the sheet of ice left under the snow due to the lack of gritting, and my little 1.2 Clio managed quite well. Was forever driving around watching old men in big german cars and women driving people carriers...
53K in 5 years, not too bad. Will need its cambelt done in less than 10k though, unless its already been done early. yeah, get some decent coilovers and itll really liven up the ride, clio's are notoriously bouncy, even the sports lol. would look good with some xenon headlights in it, im wanting...
looks nice and tidy, always liked the RB cups :) cant wait til im old enough to insure one of the buggers without having a heart attack at the amount of money they want.
whats the mileage etc?
any mods planned?
+1
but in all fairness do you really need them, ive got a campus and i just operate the head unit from the main thing. i drive with my hand on the gearstick most of the time so when its in 3rd of 5th its just one lift of a finger to any button, easy and cheaper than buying those leads
ouch, looks a very sad car now. glad you're ok, rear enders can be bad so you were pretty lucky. what you doing with the car? Im sure some people on here will be interested in parts if you decide to break it, including me :P first dibs on the front seats
Im looking to uprate the speakers in my clio when ive got the dash ripped off to have some bits and bobs vinyl wrapped. Gonna do the dash tweeters too. I want them all amped and im gonna change the standard renault ones on the parcel shelf for some that can handle a higher volume, as they...
Re: French car show 2011
one advantage to it being at rockingham for me, i could pretty much walk there. i live in corby, and on a good day i can hear the speedway from my house if they've got the bigger cars racing in the summer. When it first opened it had so much going on, but the racing...
went to put some tunes on today, pressed the power button on the headunit, nothing :( turned ignition off and on again, nothing again :(
changed the fuse for a fresh one, again, nothing
pulled the HU out, checked all the plugs were in ok, and again, nada
i had it out a few weeks ago to...
normally just pops off with a little patience, a screwdriver with a thin cotton cloth, like a pillow case type material on the end will be enough to wedge underneath and prise it off. will leave two holes though, best way to fill them is put a plate or some fibreglass mesh on the inside of the...
35mpg plus from a 182! theres must be something wrong with mine then, its a 3 year old 1.2 16v Campus and i barely get 30mpg around town! doesnt go above about 35mpg for motorways! any ideas?
yeah, quite the bargain, even better is, it came with it as the guy who bought the car brand new had it as an upgrade. The dealer were gonna throw it away the next day as they didnt think anyone would want it, if it wasnt for the fact that i drove past in my battered mk2 ph1 and fell in love...
its not, but youre entitled to your opinion and i appreciate the feedback, im gonna have a play around with a few ideas first and see what i like best. aa for the lowering, the speed bumps have all just been re tarmacked, instead of properly relaying them theyve taken the bricks out from around...
That they wouldnt mind being used in the flyer? Im gonna design one for the competition but cant find enough photos through the calendar thing from last year. I need pics of all models, even non sports. Any good quality pics will do, dont need to be huge as they will be re sized. looking for a...
dont think i could safely drop it that much cuz of the roads round here, would scrape underneath every 2 seconds, honestly, theres speed bumps everywhere! its already got a spoiler which isnt too bad. i was thinking the xenon headlights from the other sports, they look pretty nice and theyre...
