well seeing as the standard shelf is pretty flimsy, i dont think id risk putting anything on it, it'd probably just collapse. Parcels belong in the boot, where they cant be seen.
Though the parcel shelf was to hide the parcels in the boot anyway? a privacy thing?
powdercoating is the way to go for a 100% spot on finish, but on standard alloys it might just be worth refurbing them yourself. id happily do them for you, done a few sets myself, in the middle of doing my standard 15's, hoping theyre not too bent though!
im thinking white would look stupid now, anywho, only an idea, and it doesnt fit the campus because the bit of the bottom with the parts that the clips lock into is too thick on the rs grill, and wont push in far enough to actually click into place.
Don't think its worth fixing on a standard non sport alloy. Gonna have a look at the other 3 and see if any are damaged, if so then it might be a perfect excuse to get some turinis.
Just taken one of my alloys off to start refurbing them, flipped it over to clean the inside of it only to discover a whacking great buckle on the back of the rim. Will this cause any issues with getting new tyres fitted? About 3 inches of the back of the rim is flattened out but the tyre sits...
They don't fit on the campus properly, its hard to explain but basically there's a big bit of plastic in the way stopping it from clipping into place. It will match up fine and won't go anywhere with the bonnet down it just won't sit perfectly flush at the front without some major chopping of...
right, fitted my rs grill to my campus today, what a friggin joke, didnt realise they dont fit properly, but its on for now, til i work out a way to attach it more permanently.
anywho, been looking at what colour scheme to go with on the car, been looking at either orange or purple alloys and...
i think it should definately change for men as they get older, eg more experienced and less boy racer ish, a 30 year old man with say 10 years driving and no claims is clearly just as good a driver as a 30 year old woman in the same situation, so therefore they should pay the same amount...
im thinking either renault inferno orange (which the gf doesnt like) or to be really different, im really liking this
ford purple velvet metallic.
That with white diamonds on the alloys and white badges, then interior strips done white with the purple detailing. Same again if i was to go with...
shall i refurb my alloys?
i know ive asked this before but im still really really stuck, new tyres have finally come and im now in a position to diy refurb them before getting the new tyres fitted.
The alloys are the standard non sport ones, and the car is a pearl black campus. im still...
itll fit any clio mate, just bend it to shape, drill the pilot holes and self tap it in, then chop the sxcess of the end. all of the clio bumpers are pretty much th same shape at the bottom
wish i could say the same about my campus, interior doesnt creak or anything, but the wind noise is a friggin b***h! probably the only reason i dont tank it on motorways is because of the noise!
if i remember correctly, seats out, find all the torx screws and bolts holding it in, undo them and off it pops. should be pretty simple. cant really go wrong with them, they go back together easy too
dont random whines and annoying rattles come as standard with all renaults? thought they were on the spec list? gotta love the frenchies for their questionable build quality
that bearded dragon looks rather suspicious lol and it looks to be in a viv at a pets at home? i can tell i work there too much when i realise things like that! nice photos though!
