After getting emotional about losing the DB7 after the recent coverage of the DB7 GT my Dad has bought the same car back. It will now be going back to Aston Martin for choice upgrades :) Thought you guys might enjoy a couple of pics...
I found a really old Autocar magazine last night and when looking in their old pink pages i noticed they had the 1.8RSI, but the valver was a 1.7? They also had the valvers 0-60 as better than the williams! Is this all true?

Just when i was getting down in the dumps about insurance i got the best quote from these guys.
Online quote was £2k, about what i was expecting. After hearing they allow any mods i thought id phone them. Whoever said it was right, as long as you dont increase engine capacity there is NO...

On Saturday after waiting for just under 2 weeks i got a drive in a Cupra R, courtesy of the dealership in Sidcup (SE london).
First impressions were pretty good, the demo was covered in a chequred flag, i presume to promote the new race series. It was a yellow example with the nice 18 inch...
Last friday i actually managed to get the 1.2 into a bit of oversteer. Normally the steering is quite feelsome and i can tell whats going to happen, however i had a bit of a frightening moment as i felt like my steering wheel was connected to thin air. I kept my foot planted and was ok but was...
This month its insurance renewal time. My cheapest quotes are with the before mentioned companys, Tescos being £100 more.
What i want to know is how both respond to modifications?
Cheers,

From EVO..
Due to the success of the Cup it has been rumoured the 172 maybe DISCONTINUED!! Instead Renault are thinking of having a long options list with the Cup being the base car, but owners can add kit as they please. So people will be able to have Cups with ABS! :)

This morning was a bit of a nightmare, sometimes my gearbox is very stiff, but it was awful today, i had to force into first and i got a loud crunch in reply. Also, about 30 seconds later i stopped at the roundabout and pulled up my handbrake but oh dear, i rolled back! Now i know sometimes i...
