    As always, some things are best left alone. Really can't be arsed to f**k about removing pipes and installing 'cold air feeds' then driving around trying to convince myself the car is faster when it's not.

    +1 Drawing attention to the fact that your car has drums at the rear by painting them any other colour than black isn't clever.

    I think I'm losing the battle to keep my 172

    Part exchange your looking at 3/3.5k which is ridiculous TBH in the current econmic climate and with it being such a low mileage example I'd hang onto it, not as if it costs a fortune in petrol to run.
