its very fiddly tho and takin dash apart is not easy unless u kno where the bolts and screws are

if u get valver rear discs from reno they come with the bearings already pressed in, there not too expensive
but u have to ask for discs for a car with ABS even if u havent got it but it doesnt matter either way
the non abs discs are dearer and come without bearings, work that out lol
adi
i did my heater matrix its not a nice job very fiddly but its not too difficult
ive got some instructions on my pc that mat brown sent me if you want em the dash doesnt have to come out it jus needs to be unbolted and pulled forward
adi
hmmm if i was to sell the valver and get a newer car it wud prob be a mk1 172 with work or a cup
but imo the cup interior is gash, the valver 1 is much better
however only the cup and mk1 172 would compare performance wise to the 2.0 valver jus more expensive it wud defo need mods
adi
ill have to look but i reckon ive got a drivers door ph 2 bump strip and rear qtr panel bump strip ph 2
im after a drivers door top window strip and plastic knob
open ind kits do not work properly a sealed ind kit will infact help lower induction temps and will keep a helpful eye on things hehe
carbon ind kits keep ind temps well cooler and keep it all well sweet never wud i keep it in the gear mutha fuker
hmmm mcgard really are good so they must be really stuck did u have to use lots of force to snap the keys?
if there that stuck u mite need to drill em out i dont think a stud extractor wud do if there that stuck
adi
a valver clutch change is a couple of hours half a day at most so 100-150 plus price of clutch
it is a sh*t job but u shudnt be expected to pay extra cos its hard lol
adi
in the product info on there website it says gains of 7bhp have been seen on janspeeds rolling road so probably is the janspeed sold by k-tec
i wouldnt pay 300 quid for it anyway not when a normal de-cat wud give u even more power and is lots lots cheaper
adi
its only if the engine is shut off when the its at a certain temp which is pretty high
unless its a baking hot day and your sat in traffic for ages and then jus pull over an turn the engine off its not likely to operate
it only does it when u switch the engine off and is set to run the...
