Foam does work and tyre can be repaired, i have had it done. It showered the tyre fitter guy with foam when he took it off the rim but i warned him in advance. it can be repaired as long as the foam is properly rinsed out of the tyre.
And, the foam is only about five or six quid for...

Im just taken in by the marketing.
Cheers guys, thats pretty much what I thought was the case, so its probably not a good idea without some fueling adjustment...

I know there have been a squillion and one posts on induction kits but I would like to know whether if I put an induction kit on only whether it will:-
a) give any noticeable power gains - has anyone compared RR runs before and after.
b) make it run lean or will ecu adjust.

Changed mine at the weekend, I used fully synthetic oil bought from a vw main agent, but it complies with all the requirements that it says in the renault service guide and was about 22 quid for five litres.
If you use Mobil 1, as others have said, Youll need more, mines taken almost...
Night.Icon - Yes it was naples red, and a very tidy example, shame we never had a chat/race, catch you next time.
Rhys - Youre right, I only suggested 14.5 cause I had (wrongly) thought the clock started with the green light.
Slugger - Pretty consistent times there, well have to have a head...
Matthew/runner bean.
That makes more sense cause I had wondered why I had lost by half a car length but it was half a second difference on the times.

Main thing is, I didnt see any faster CTRs, the ones i saw were doin 15.3-16 typically. could have missed them though if someone knows better...

I suppose the good thing is that you dont shaft your clutch as quick...
Any of you guys at the pod on sunday?
I saw one clio with the club sticker in (red 16v) and hung around for a bit but nobody seemed to obviously own it.
There was a good turn out of gtts but only a handful of clios. I didnt see any other cups or 172s on the strip. I was hoping for a friendly...
Mine did it from new, apparently it is an engine mount which has not been tightened correctly, and a very common problem. im gonna get mine sorted at first service i think.

cheers for the replies guys, a friend suggested colour magic as an option to make it less noticeable which i think ill try for the time being. im partly afraid that if i pay hundreds of pounds to get it done, theyll come back and have another go.
the cctv option is a possibility as a...

at the start it says scooby 227 cv, which is probably the bhp cv=chevaux (horses, if i remember my french correctly)
if it was standard, itd be closer me thinks, clio might even win...
