Whats the real advantage in the weight saving. i mean the guy who I could get the Ultraleggera's from was pushing the weight (or lack of those wheels) as a sales point. (about 8.6kg each alloy)
I doubt it would help you save more than £20 fuel over the year, does it really give a noticeable...
I know what you mean about multifit. I'm on a tight buget as just got a house and the car. I've aloted a bit of money to make the car my own and £500 is my absolute limit, so yes budget tyres.
I can get some graphite ultraleggeras in mint condition second hand for £460 with 3.5mm tread on the...
Thx
I'm trying to imagine them without the red rim at the moment.
I guess the real people to judge these are Turini lovers as I'm looking at them as they'd give a similar look but for £300 less
Firstly guys I am in line for some second hand oz Ultraleggera's in Graphite, but they are still expensive.
I have alos been look at Turini's in anthracite second hand but no one seems to have any
..both are too expensive new for me with tyres, so I was wondering if there was any alternatives...
Thanks, that's great to know.
What's the crack with the bore size on alloys, and these in particular (apologies for being such a novice at buying or understanding alloys)
does anyone know the bore on the ultraleggeras compared to the standard 172 alloys.
Still wondering if handling is effected by the wheels sticking out a bit more
So what is the ET on the standard 172 alloys. Thus how much more will they be sticking out. Will eat even be noticeable to an undiscerning eye?
Am I right in saying the PCD is is the same for the MK1 Clio as it is for the MK2 Clio (172)
Thanks
Thx
so in terms of offset do these stick out more or less than the standard alloys. Is there likely to be any noticable negative effect on the balance and drive of the car?
Hi all.
I am a bit of a novice when it comes to understnad alloys and tyre sizes.
I am looking at buying some 16" Anthracite Ultraleggeras off a member on here. They are 195/45/16 and the chap has had them on his Clio Mk1.
ET is 37
Will these be alright on my Mk2 Ph2 Clio 172?
Cheers, thats a useful comparison, thought that MPG out of a 182 makes mine look poor in a 172, thought I know it all depends on how and where you drive.
From what I've just read on another post it sounds like the fuel light comes on after 40litres thus 10 litres still left in the tank.
Dont...
Ok, I may be being paranoid but I am sure since I swapped out my Honda Civic Type R for a Clio 172 Ph2 I am putting juice in my car than I was with the Type-R yet both have the same size fuel tank.
I was going about 31 MPG in the Type-R and seem to be doing about 35-36 in the Clio according to...
Where did you hear this?
if it does get into the appstore I'm pretty sure it will be WiFi only (Due to network providers kicking up a s stink), which kind of defeats the object of it.
Apple cant exactly stope the development off web apps that allow it though over 3G
if an app is released...
