Superchips are remaps of standard ECU; the guy in the garage connects a wire to your cars diagnostic port (near the gearstickk somewhere) and "flashes" the new settings into the ECUs memory. They can be reflashed with original settings just as easily.

Dont think the two things are related mate. I had the knocking noise and it was fixed in a day under warranty no bother - they changed the front shocks and altered the top mounts for the shocks. Its been fine since, and that was back in June (10000 miles ago).

I paid a local body shop £250 to do all three panels on my passenger side, after some twot keyed right the way along the side (back in April, like after 3 weeks of Cup ownership). Two panels were taken down to the white primer layer.

When I had mine done (RRd) in the summer, the x axis scale was 1000rpm out, and it looked pretty similar to the one above (though not as powerful!). Adding 1000rpm would make it all seem right again, ie VVT should make the power curve steepen at about 5000 revs, not the 4000 shown, and peek...

Knocking noise on suspension fixed at 7000miles, engine/gearbox mounts replaced at 11000, serviced at 12000 & needed new front tyres (but I swapped for the white 17s). Thats it so far.
Oh, and I have suffered from two specific rattles...
