Okay, found all those three. If I rock the engine with both hands, there is 4/5mm play in the top left mount (the one in Toms pic above). Does that sound too much? Im trying to cure the banging under acceleration problem...

As it says, where can I find all the engine mounts. I think one is loose and want a go at tightening it myself before taking it to a garage.

Thats more than likely an engine mount. Mine finally gave way after an enthusiastic launch from some traffic lights. Am getting it looked at on Friday.

TBH you are best extending your seach to Willy 1, 2 and 3s. There were less 3s made than any other model, theyll be touch heavier than the earlier ones with the addition of extra equiptment and Ive seen more 3s written off/stolen than any of the others. My Willy 3 was nicked a few months back :cry:

If you search around on the net there are details of a Williams Turbo (in France I think) as well as some pictures of a twin-engined Willy!

31.5k and the engine mounts are on their way out I think. Engine (touchwood) runs very smooth and quiet and I give it Halfords own brand fully synthetic every 6k miles with top ups when necessary.

Ive seen them get late 18 seconds to mid-19s. Not sure about the terminal speeds.
