nope theyre aint much in em at all. its all down to gearing too dont forget. a valver and 172 will hit 150 ish top end revs a vts will only hit 130 top end revs. so has quicker gearing which helps it out a lot! which is y im gettin a vtr box put in. 165mph top end. muwahahahaaa

i drive a 16v clio and a vts saxo. my dad has a 172, my gf has a 16v clio - ive drove them all

work out power to weight at wheels not fly

my valver keeps up with craigy172s 196bhp 172 and left my dads 172 behind when we raced

power to weight. means in standard form theyre only a little bit slower. and id say they handle tons better!

yea best to take it somewhere local and reliable - unless u know any mechanics/ mechanically minded people, wouldnt really advise going to renault, leave that as last resort. far too expensive!
