yeah as spam said just use the standard stuff, the 8 gauge speaker wire or what ever size they supply you with is way OTT. The OEM stuff wont effect SQ at all, only risk is the wire could melt if your pumping serious watts into your speakings. Im running Momo polks componets up front with 100rms...
A williams gearbox would be able to take 250BHP with out any major issues. BBPTs clio 16v turbo demo car runs a std williams box. Any more and you may have to concider maybe custom quaife one?! But then your talking big £££. BBPT turbo 16v is limited due to the gearbox, tho some say the chassis...
best thing to do Alymac is get yourself some glass polish. It does a an outstanding job of cleaning windows with out smearing etc.. Basicly you wipe it on (dont have to put that much effort into it) wait for it to dry, then take it off.
Result = Spanking clean windows!
i swear by it. I have...
mate, if you showed me 2 service books - one with renault stamps, the other with BBPT stamps - id take the car that had been looked after by BBPT. Tho to most of the public they wouldnt know of BBPT so i can see your point. Service history aint really going to make "that much" difference anyway...
youd be fecking mad not to take the car to BBPT for the cambelt!! BBPT are very professional !! They know more about clios then any renault dealer! they work on them all day long. The only problem with BBPT tho - is there loction. They are based in the middle of nowhere sadly, and they dont...
Im not going to go into details but i own a TOAD Ai606 and its wicked. Not had one issue with at all. Ive not heard any bad stuff about Toad. I had a clifford C50 on my previous car and it was pig!! some people say its down to the way its installed. But if you ask me Clifford is slightly over...
what happens if your car is moded tho? do direct line still insure you still? im currently with Esure, £670 fully comp 22 with 4yrs NCB on 1.8 16v. I thought that was wicked. But i know next year they wont insure me cuz i;ll be having a few mods done here ans there :(
Cheers Steve,
Matty - think you maybe wrong there m8, Nick Hill is doing my convertion and advised i keep the 16v manifold which lines up 100% with the williams one. Think the heads on the 16v & williams are the same anyway apart from the williams having slightly larger valves?
As some of you may already know, im having a williams engine fitted in a few weeks. Im also going to be keeping my 16v manifold. Can anyone tell the advantages / disadvantages in doing this? I have been told a valvers manifold is a bonus becuase you get more peak power in higher revs with a...
and whys that BamBam?!!
i built my system with nothing but SQ in mind! running mm455 polk momos up front (which is why papa advised speaking to me i would have thought) i got a wicked deal from 001 mobile, paid less then £200 for my momos comps brand new)
also running a sealed JL 10 3w2 sub...
94 M reg on 73,000 pulling just a hard as it did from new, producing 2bhp above std with no mods. (up for sale if anyone wants it) Having a williams put on on the 23rd.
i had a scorpion system on an XR3i once, lovely exhausts - real nice sounding and not too loud, as someone said not much louder then std. I now have a magnex system. Still nice, maybe slightly better build quality but id sooner have a scorpion.
anyone wunna swap? ;)
FECK ME - Got alittle worried then - your install Rorris looks just like mineish!! i have the same comps (momo MM455s) however im running a JL 10 3w2 sub that works. However my boot looks just like your install. Ill take some pics of mine in the week and host um.
Remember to run in the comps -...
if you wunna stay away from the boy racer looking tailpipes, go for magnex. They are quality replacments that are not to loud and last for ever! not much bigger then std, but enough to know its aftermarket.
thats where de-locking and smoothing come into play (like your old clio) no f**king can get in then (including you if you lock your keys in) however you would prob loose a window then instead.
whats worse, a window or lock replacment?
i LMFAO when i see people driving about with there fogs on. Its a BMW trend that shouldnt be followed. You might think it looks good, but other people (like me) are laughing at you.
