very similar problem as here. seems to be a common theme with the 1.2 16v lately! http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=127213&PagePosition=2http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=127213&PagePosition=2
ooh thats cold! my dad drives a lorry, one morning it was -15 and the diesel froze in the tank, all he could do was sit there for 4 hours till it thawed out!
ive seen a couple on display, cant remember all the brand names but i know for sure, that the alpine one seemed to outshine the others in quality of picture. was a lot more pricey though! think fred and has have tv units.
if you want to keep a fairly simple install, i would recomend changing the standard head unit first, then u can buy direct replacements for the standard speakers, dont think they are 4" though, more like 5 1/4 "? double check that though
its a pain in the ass but its possible, ive done it on mine. here are some pics

for the type of music i would go with a 12" maybe a duel voice coil if funds allow! re- matching amps to subs, try to get them to match watts at RMS forget all these max values, load of crap. to wire the sub to an amp use this as a guide...
ive seen an old couple go up the wrong way of a duel carriageway, they looked well confused when they got to the island! so did the lorry driver heading straight at them!
