dont have to worry about being 6 speakers as the tweeters in the dash are daisy chained off the door speakers,so effectively the head unit only sees 4 speakers. i just changed the tweeters, put kenwood coaxals in the doors, and gonna put a single dvc 12" sub in the boot.

theres like a black plastic nut on the inside of the boot, un fasten that, till it comes off, then just wiggle the light cluster till it comes out! simple!

yeah i saw you about 5 times going down the strip, saw a cup get a 7.1 or something like that. how acurate do you recon that timing gear was cus i saw a boggo fiesta with big alloys getiing 8.2ish, then suddenly get a 7.6! no way a fiesta can get those times surely?

standard speakers in a valver are 5.25" so 6.5" are gonna be trouble to fit! unless u put some kind of spacers in. didnt john (nighticon) do this in his valver? might be worth asking him

right, trying to get new speaker wire through the connector block, into the door, but having difficulty getting it off! i know someone off here has done it before, how do i get it apart without snapping it? to make it more clear here is a pic of what it is...

near junction, 7 going northbound today, just got out of the 40mph roadworks, saw national speed limit signs, so accelerated, up to 75, then my laser detector went crazy!! even when i came off the motorway at 7. couldnt see any one, about, any one else with a detector been up that way?

mine went not long ago, actually quite easy to change up gear inthe valver, coming downs a bit noisy though! drove it home, 4 miles then 3 the next day to the garage.

cheers it was only my second attempt at a proper install, they are 800w pioneers, sold one, still got one in the car, never been entirely happy with them, gonna change it soon.

there are loads of cameras around the west mids with lines on both sides of the road, the cameras dont spin round or anything, just fixed, in fact my bro has a nice photo of the front of his car from one of these! tis right though, they dont half blind ya when they go off in ya face!

do u have an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser on it? i had this problem and mine had to be towed back to the cliffard alarm place to be reset!

cheers for the concerns guys, some idiot came over and told the girl to claim she was badly injured and get loads of money in compensation. the girl walked off before i could get her full name, the ambulance caught up with her though., but the ambulance guy told me to stay away.
