weathers been good, the missus is going out and im skint, however i do have half a tank of go go juice, and im supposed to be in bed poorly tonight;), as iv had a chest infection all week and its not getting better so i said il try to get better by staying in. but i feel the temptation is too...
no paddy mate, you go on orange and your slow human reactions get you go as it goes green! its doesnt stay on amber as long as norman traffic lights, for a split second, so when its amber you drop the clutch and hope you got the hop on the guy next to you!, so as jon says, if you see green youve...
ok ok, i was driving down a dual carriageway hill lastnight at the bottom is some lights, im in the left lane approaching the bottom, and the right lane is empty, whereas my lane is full of giffers, so i move over to the right un knowing that the car in quiestion had come flying over the hill...
sorta want to but theres to many people who think "******" fast as f**k, well i found out the contrary last night, and its not the megane i raced tonight!, iv raced a few of the cars i took on last night in the williams, but not in the saxo, until yesterday
shame it was the 1.6 tho he he,
what can i say, i f**ked it over, he was tailing me then as some lights went red he pulled to the side of me, none of us went on green then he set off with a chirp of the tyres and he got about room for a car between us in front, then i wound it up, and...
yes mate, saying that my saxo seats will *probably* be staying in. but on the 1/4 mile no one gives a sh*t what you do to get a fast time, youll get the same respect if you could do 13.5 with an elephant in the boot or without. its your time no matter how you achieve it.
by that i mean the regular 1/4 milers off the forum!
ged only hada seat and his steering wheel lol
ah yeah, i didnt have a rev counter either which makes things tricky
rhys, ran 15.0 de-cat and fully loaded with trim
ran 14.8 with scorpion zorst, back seats out and HIllpower chip. think a chip needs mapping to the car to be honest as i just had one plonked in. sure with the weight loss and exhaust i could have seen that time
its right that 172s vary in power. will be interesting to see if paddy can cut the mustard racing against the clock @ york he he, then theres no excuses in finding out who is fastest. provided there tested on the same day in the same conditions tho
my williams would gobble up my VTS im sure as i caned two before, they were good to 60 but come third gear it was au revoir, although mine is also capable of a 14.8 1/4 mile @ york so...............
daz, there is an updated version of the williams 0-100, which was 17 secs flat, again with a passenger on sh*t roads. iv no doubt whatsoever it is capable of the high 15 seconds 0-100 on good launching ground.
