haha, good vid, but not exactly a good comparison as they only use 2 gears............however i raced a modded (seriously modded) vtr at santa pod, his best et of the day was like 83mph, which is well good for a vtr, anyway i collared him, racedhim, and wasted him. end of:)
paul, dont worry to much mate, if jon saays its ok ill lend you the airbox off my williams which has piercross replacement elelment. or rhys has a standard airbox or hillpower filter he would prob lend you if you ask him

lol, yeah, hitting the limiter at 140 is rather scarey on a sat afternoon on the m1! and yeah that things fast as fook. as jons said hes bought my williams which ran 15.0 with de-cat and exhaust and then 14.8 with chip

that might be it then. but like i said only what i read, but maybe the air temp is a factor in this sorta thing too, 14 milnig must be best on a really cold dry day i bent witn no bloody front wint
youl av to give it a blast at york or the pod mate, as various forums (rightly or wrongly) dismiss crail as being a bit out, its the cold scotch air that does it!
when i test drove a cup the speedo was out by 20 mph, yes 20 mph, at 40 it said 60 etc, the dealer was embarrassed as theyd done 100miles without noticing and i spotted it straight away. vts bounces off limiter at 66 with a 7.3-7.4 ish redline so with a chip i wonder what i could do? hmm, would...
yeah, when you with em you dont want them, you want other things, then when you without you want em.............................or do you?is it just a routine your used to? fook knows.
whats funny bout that carlos?, anyways, expect to see vids of Nicks clio turbo being baet by my VTS before long, might have a better top end but ill take him to bout 110 with my short gears (that are actually taller than a valvers) aint that right nick:cool:
haha, proper vts is rare, its such a cliche but the amount of VTSd wheeled VTRs badges etc in so fukin annoying. i see hundred, no rear headrests or 16v badges, either non standard/vts wheels and the yellow s on the badge
well i been thru this a million times having had many an encounter with all the hot clios and everyone is well aware what all these cars are capable of im sure. on the whole the vts is regarded to be on par with the valver, mine seems to have the legs on most of the 16vs out there and it is...
he he i had this trouble, bought some from reno for 80 quid a spring, but they didnt know what to give me, they ended up giving me some off a 1.2 or summat, car looked like it was pulling a wheelie, moaned about it and ended up with some black ones i think
