hell probably think that their all from u!
make sure wen u send it in that u say ure car and maybe ure reg so they can follow it up and know for certain that u are genuine!?
just a though i had.
didnt know that they reved to LESS in higher gears.
my 2004 1.4 revs too..
1st- 6200
2nd- 6400
3rd- 6600
4th- 7000
5th- 7200 (apparenly my m8s seen that on his, but ive hit 126mph at 6800rpm in 5th!)
-phil-
if u want a twitchy car at speed try driving my 2004 1.4 with the spax sus! great in the corners but if u hit the throttle a bit too early (even with a meagre 98bhp!) ull start to understeer massively!
its ure choice mate, sell the 172, get an OLD vovlo with a good safe amount of metal round u but no electrics to cause a fire. - or, separate the garge from the house (if thats possibile)!
mate, i understand, and from wot i hear u really do love your kids! but i think u need to chill out a bit on this. oh, and the extra cost of parking the car on the drive wud b minimal to the insurance, coz if uve got kids im guessing ure late 20s at least. try paying close to £1300 (as i am at...
tbh, if we all drove like chrisitians (lol-james mays words!!!) then wed save alot of fuel
but becoz weve all modded our cars and wanna hear the mods working then we end up driving like wev had a right foot transplant with micheal shoemakka(sp-lol!)
but yeh, insurance is a b**ch eh?
just...
some people being us!
well maybe not that much, if the price of petrol doubled id still use my car, but only for essential and pleasure instead of every journey possible like i do now!
ive got a £700 mountainbike in beneath all the rubbish in the garage. that soon started to pick up dust a...
hehe!
cud be. but i think the petrol companies are like the insurance companies, coz they KNOW theyll have demand for it. i mean, ok sure its expensive, but my rents will keep paying for it as will other people. even if they dropped it 5p id still struggle to run my car on the way that it...
well i hope ure right dan, for mooses sake...and i also agree that renault shud heavily address this problem as it is V. serious.
but, again, like i sed, im not going to worry about my car, if it happens it happens. park it outside if u wish, its got 10years antirust warrenty aint it??
ever sat down and thought about it?
insurance- its the law, uve got to have it, but at the price set by the company. and then uve got excess? wots that all about? ure already paying the insurance company alot of money in the 1st place and then we u crash uve gotta pay out ever moreeee money...
yeh
but u know wot they do- its always the same, they say the car is good and say lots of really good things then there comes a but.. and although the but is sometimes meaningless (like the cool/uncool wall) it seems to give the audience a bad ring to the car.
get wat i mean or am i talking...
go for the 1.4 16v
i mean, sure the diesel will give u more economy, but for pure driving pleasure who cares about economy!!
motorways arnt too bad in the 1.4 either as it will hit 122 relatively easily and can do 105mph in 4th so u have the power to do some pretty sweet undertaking...
i think u guys r missing the point missy is making.
she is saying that its not JUST renaults that catch fire, and that all cars can potentially spontaneously combust. so, i dont think that by getting a different car wud solve that problem. ok, two clios that we know of have caught fire on...
is that possible? i mean, if i rote my car off and they ONLY payed for the standard car then thats fine by me. so can i delcare the mods and then say that i will offer to pay the difference?
ooooooh, u mean that i offer to pay the difference to MY DAD!! ahh i get cha
but, wat i just sed...
front right cv boot, front left bearing, centre section of the exhaust, sorting out the idleing problem ands a few other little bits
front right cv boot- dunno wot that is, pass!
front left bearing- £150ish inc fitting
Centre section- do u mean centre box? if so, then £60 job imo
ideling...
well i think its a bit drastic to think of selling ure car just bcoz 2 172s have gone up in flames. i mean, sure, thats bad for a modern car to do, but i dont think that its a common problem with renaults. also, if the 172 owners r worried then surely the cup and 182 owners shud b similarily...
no dont touch the reset button..
have the keys turned round till all the lights come on then press the button and hold it in.
then turn it off then back on till the lights come on only then u can take ure finger off the button.
u shud be able to fit the springs ureself (do the cups have rear springs or a torsion bar?) and they will be about £80 if they are no different to lesser models
i wudnt go much lower than 35mm tho.
and id also get the wheels done and buy lots of tyre shine so that u can put a smile on ure...
