theres definatly no way of drilling thru the nut and "removing" it from inside out? might wreck the inverse thread inside the part which is on the car (cant think wat its called- the bit in the middle of the disc)
if its the insurance company write off u cant do nething to it, as, if they pay u out then the car technically belongs to them for spare parts (mind u- theyll just scrap it)

wen my dad had trouble with his vauxhall omega, he mananged to write to the head office and get his problems sorted! not sure if u can do the same, but if u get those pics printed off and go there then im sure they will quitely do...

Right i have a 2004 1.4 16v clio and im 18yrs old.
im with zurich international, under my dads name. i have made the following mods...
K&n airfilter,
-35mm lower spax suspension,
and soon i will have rear lexus lights.
my dad keeps saying "dont worry about telling the insurance company...

which is exactly why i park in the mother and child bit at supermarkets like sainsburies. there is a nice wide space either side for idiots to swing their doors into!!!
i dont let people eat "food" or smoke in my car. obviously they can drink stuff and eat sweets or stuff on a long journey!

hmm but the peep at the garage really sed that if thers ne unburned fuel in ther (which there will be) then it can snap crackle and pop!

wen i get my exhaust, ive been told that it might pop quite nicely wen i rag it then back off (as their removing the centre box and putting a 1 and 3/4inch pipe there instead of it, and was wondering if i gud get ne flames out the back?
been told that i can get sparkplug type things to ignite...

although mine doesnt do this, the rev counter is going at a diff pace to the speedo, so it says 122 on mine wen the revs r at 3000rpm- strange init!

wot u gotta do is....
have the keys turned round till all the lights come on then press the button and hold it in.
then turn it off then back on till the lights come on only then u can take ure finger off the button.
u know that diagnostic checker thing u can do for the comp on mk2 clios, well... my m8 did it on his 172 today and the speedo went round to 160mph, and wen i did it on my 04 1.4 16v it only went round to 122mph.
now funnily enough, that is the top speed which ive seen on my speedo a few times...
