I had a dream a few months back where l was going to buy a 997 Porsche.I'd sold my 182 to get it but then the guy didn't want to sell.I was gutted because there was a 182 on his street and l wish l hadn't sold mine :(
Then l woke up and it was all a dream. Ahhhhhh . A happy ending :)
You can't sell your motor!!!!! You're part of history....the first person to spot me :)
You'll have no trouble selling as it looks great.....and loooooow ;)
Why not try something like this....a bit fragile but very different...
The 205 WAS at 163bhp.....RR at Skip Brown. They know their stuff...it was a 'GTi S' rebuild.
The 182 doesn't have the 'feel' of the 205 but is better everywhere else...speed,grip,safety and better build quality. No real surprises there then.
I was just curious as if a mint Williams came...
I love the Williams Clios's...they look timeless like my old 205 Gti...the blue colour and gold alloys are perfectly matched and you just know they are special.
I've never owned or driven one and was wondering how it compares to the 182 Cup.I expect the 182 would eat it on a straight and just...
The left side of my wheel looks like its wearing away. Its only done 16k FFS ! I have a normal left hand so could l get a new wheel from Reno....maybe a smaller one?
For track/stripped out racer evryone would say 172 Cup
For everyday use 182 Cup
I went from 172 Cup to 182 Cup and the 182 is just as quick...and the RB colour is better IMHO
I was called out to a tanker crash on the m62 slip road on monday. My 182 Cup was parked on the bridge over the m60 from 12.30 am on tuesday until 4pm.Now work out how many cars passed underneath and not one Cliosport member spotted it !
These 182 RB's are rare....l spotted a 360...
I've just had mine remapped by RS Tuning and l can feel the difference.....smoother and pulls better :)
Maybe get more MPG as well......although l bet l drive it harder now!
Ok....had this done today. Took Paul about 25 mins to sort out....no hassle. We took it for a test drive and even 2-up running on 95 Ron of Asda's finest it feels better.Didn't have many oppotunities to floor but when l did it felt much smoother :)
On the motorway home the same.....more...
Not yet.....cars still got Reno warranty left.Maybe after that l'll change the air feed, fit some decent seats & harnesses.....nothing over the top.
With a re-map whats the best exhaust (nothing loud) to fit and what gains would it produce?
The other thing l should look at is either a quick blast up to Leeds or a 370 mile round trip down south......but at the ned of the day l want whats best for the car.
All comments welcome :)
