is the performanace between a CTR and 172 that noticeable ?? i mean can someone confirm that the clio is a sub 7 second car to 60..? on the paper the clio looks like it can compete well against the CTR and subarus etc...

Hi Guys, More than anything i want to believe that the 172 MK1 is capable of 6.6 how realistic is this ??? has anyone ever timed a 0-60 as fast as this for their 172 ?? surely evo wouldnt lie about this !!! Jock

i know where everyone is coming from when they say go for the GTi .. i myself would agree... i currently own a VTR and would only go for it for a change..however if i was decided between the 2 now i would also be tempted by the free insurance/CD payer/passenger air bag that comes standard over...

if u had an extra 4 grand to spend would u of went for the Civic Type R ???

renault salesmen can admit that honda have better build quality than them .. u cant argue with that !!! but to tell the truth build qaulity is not the reason why we buy the 172 is it ? ? theres no way u can justify the 172 having better build qaulity than the CTR, regardless of many 172s...

I have been on the CTR forum and i havent heard them complain about their cars nearly as much as u guys have, especially when it comes to rattles ...but in the odd case where they have, they have always come back to say how good the dealer was in fixing the problem immediately ...and i dont...
