Been OK with me apart from the £1121 for returning their lease car early. They also had the lowest quote for the lease.
However they never supplied the car and since buying a new car from Renault I can see where you coming from with dealers.
The thing that annoys me the most is that I liked it so much I spent my own money to buy my own. I had to pay to send the lease car back, I should be a walking advertisment to them. Also the dealer supplied the orginal lease car so in the last 8 months they have sold me two Cups.
Going to go...
Shame they didnt do a PDI or was it their racing in my baby that knackered the tracking. Why dosnt anyone give a sh*t about anything any more. Renault are really really bad, but they make the Cup.
Does anyone have a decent dealer with 50 miles of Nottingham where I can take my Cup and feel...
Today was a sad but should have also been a happy day. My lease Cup taken back to Arnold Clark with a tear in my eye. But then I now have my very own 03 Cup, what more could I want. Well to being with one that hasnt got any faults.
Picked up my new Cup yesterday, signed the documentation in...
Going to phone up Bruno Vanel tomorrow hes the Director of Marketing and sent be a lovely letter telling me how they monitor build quality with exceptional rigour now and that a should get exaclty the car i want, with minimum of fuss and delay.
What do they use to monitor build qualtiy...
Went for the Cup basically because performance per pound is really cant be beaten. It is also a great drive and looks great, dosnt shout nick me or race me like a Evo or Sti.
Thats why the PDI now consits of a wash and if your lucky a wax!! All problems (to save money found by the new owner) have to be booked in two weeks after receiving the car and done under warranty.
Trying to find the letter I got after I ordered the car saying how renault had improved its...
Will go for a new alloy, sales bloke was OK but was a bit like "Ive sold the car now is your problem, the tracking should be done under warranty and Ill speak to my boss about the alloy" Cheers thanks a bunch!!
Got new Cup today and there was a letter in there from CAT UK TEESPORT saying that my handbook is missing the network List Handbook. Who is CAT UK TEESPORT is it Renault or someone they employ. I love the Cup just wish the service was better, not much to ask really.
Got my new CUP today 03 plate
Optional extras included:-
1)car pulling to left due to dodgy tracking (They dont drive them on Pre-delivery check any more)
2)Scratched and dented alloy wheel in three places
3)one can of tyre foam
4)No cup badges
Bloke thinks 172cup badges have been...
Got mine on the dash but under a cap, looks a bit odd but means I can just leave it there. Manged to get a signal if I wedge it in to the money hole/shelve (thing under headlight height adjustment) but only just. If its there cant here it though.
Sorry dont think Warren would need one, just that some cars do, but also depends where you place the unit in the car. Dont know if the Cup windscreen is different to the 172 though.
Think of taking mine apart so that all I have on the dash is the LCD, box behind the dash. At the moment mine...
Sorry I paid £310.
The unit has an internal aerial, so depedning on where you place the unit depends on how strong the signal from GPS sat. Also some windscreens wont let through the signal. Hope that made sense.
Dont know if this has been up before but ive booked myself for the one on the 28th May.
I thought this would be a good laugh, but now Im a bit p~ssed off. What do other people think.
1) Track is only open for 2 Hrs 55 minutes
2)50 cars going to be there with 20 on the track at anyone time...
I paid £330 including laser detector, got it through Mitsubishi Lancer Register. Someone was doing a group buy with another club, think there was over 10 of us. The company was Performance FX and ordered over net took two weeks due to new stock.
Angels after service was great too, knackered...
Ive got one, got it after a close shave with a Mobile unit.
It the dogs bo**cks, but not sure about the laser detector though. Went passed a mobile unit three times in a row and not a blip. This could be due to the following:-
1) They didnt have the camera switched on due to heavy traffic...
Nottingham 10/10/02 Lease Car through work £830: 5 years no Claim
7800 miles and countiing
But just ordered one for myself, still waiting though, but only ordered it last week. Hope insurance will go down, (with Tesco) alot of insurance compaines wouldnt insure me due to it being a lease car.
Right I have pulled a Dictionary out of BobRTE arse.
Chad your right, but currently the car I drive is a lease car technically not mine.
I wasn’t having a go at the 172 or saying how wanktastic the CUP is. I was simply saying I bought the CUP because it’s a CUP.
To say a CUP and the 172...
Never owned a Reanult, never driven a 172, wont have another Reanult.
But I bought a CUP for the reason that is fun to drive, cheap and looks the b****cks. I wouldnt want to pay £15000 for clio (Apart V6) not only because I dont want to but I cant afford it. It puts a smile of my face and...
Traded in my old 306 for a Honda Jazz for my mum, bloke said he would give me £950 trade in, but he only been offered £500 for it. Then spoke to my mate who sells used cars (couldnt get hold of him at the time) and he said he would have give me £1000. Well pissed off, lying bast*rd, anyway hes...
Just ordered a CUP today for £12150 from a Renault dealer. Have a CUP lease car through Arnold Clark. Wanted to own one due to track use and future modes, enquired how much they wanted and they came back with £11700, 7 months old with 7500 on the clock.
I
I have a knocking noise on full lock, always on uneven surface. I think its the bump stops so wheel wont hit wheel arch. Had a look around and never found any damage.
Knackered mine already but no way paying that much for it, typical Reanult, pay sod all for the car but pay through the nose for the parts. Wont suprise me if a wheel nut cost £10, but only for the cup due to he special weight saving thread they use.!!!
