I have a 40" LCD and the only trouble to me is that Plasma does far better blacks, LCD blacks seem more grey to me and not as good, a bit of a problem if you like dark films like me lol.....
I'm really not sure whether to go for Plasma next time round?

182/172 would be faster, std for std....
my 5gtt when std was 0-60 in 7.5s and 0-100 in 22s......they are not fast by todays standards untill you tweak them....
once mine was running near 200bhp, then it was quick ;)
they don't weigh much but only have 120bhp std, power to wieght much...
Don't think anyone thinks they are slow (a little tall perhaps ;)), however some people on here think the 255 is slow too ;)
On paper they are slightly slower than the 182, with less bhp per tonne and less torque per tonne, but I guess the low gearing helps a little.....but we all enjoy our...
no way, I put the figures into the "performance calculator" and it would not give a time (bhp per tonne to low), so I uped the bhp untill it reached 95bhp per tonne (more than the std 1.2 has got) and it turned in a figure of 36.5.
So giving that the 1.2 has way les than 95bhp per tonne, its...
yeah but wasn't that the question started in this thread?
0-100 in a 1.2?
I would say that at only around 75bhp per tonne, it would take a 1.2 over 40s to reach 100mph.......
but I guess not many 1.2 drivers are ever going to get there, ROADS NOT LONG ENOUGH ;)

Yeah got to be, as a std Renault 5 GT Turbo (120bhp 875kg) does it in 22s, so a heavier Clio 1.2 with only 80bhp is going to take FOREVER i would have thought?

it appears to be 4 900x720 screens put together, if you look closely you can just see the faint join lines :(
Still, wouldn't mind it for some of my racing sims ;)

I'm sure the guy is only joking? must be, surely?

Ford KA convertible and Mini convertible due to the lack of all-round vision for the examiner, so it says on the DSA website :)
Not all are banned, someone round here does tests in a 206cc....hair dresser, no doubt ;)
but not with roof down....might upset the examiners hair ;)

Yeah like I said then, trying to drum up trade.....still he must spend most of his money on running/buying the car;)
seems a little stupid to me?
There is a guy round my way with a fiesta ST look-a-like, its really a turbo-diesel but most learners don't know the difference lol, he's busy and...
What a t**t, it must cost him a fortune to run, therefore his lessons are either too expensive, or he is a crap instructor trying to drum up trade, would be wise to steer clear of instructors like that, imho ;)

Cold air is more dense and contains more oxygen and therefore more power, turbo's LOVE cold air even more :)
more power but less grip (due to cold roads and tyres), not a good combination, but FUN ;)
maybe we should all drive around in summer with Dry ice shoved down our air intakes ;)...
