sorry? you dont have a LPF on you amp? you want the HU on flat (0 on all freq), that definate, then at the amp put your low pass filter on, and have it set to somewhere from 70-90 hz, that should sound better.
Or do you not have a low pass filter on your amp? (or was dink talking about flat...

Hi
just wondering, it seems as if my road angel takes ages to connect (10 mins ish)
at the moment the unit is above the dials, should i move it to the clear patch (if that is what it is) in the center bottom of the screen?
Cheers

have you tried putting all eq settings to 0 and bass boost to 0, then re-set your gains? (put gains to min, turn hu up until it starts to distort (usually about 3/4) turn it 1 or 2 notches down, then slowly turn the gains up until it starts distorting, then turn slightly down)
as dink says...

Also can can you prove that it is not just attempt to get a free install? do you have any sort of written confirmation from a mag?

yep diesil batterys are just more heavy duty.
what fuse rating does that twister amp have?
If i were you, just try and upgrade your -ive to chassis and +ive to alternator, its not hard and will work well. After all, you should do it wiht a bigger battery anyway, if it doesnt solve it...
so can you prove blackcats wrong through theory? or are you bassing your argument on experinence (which is seems to only be at home), when you cannot really rule out the usualy reason for interference, bad grounding?
we actually talking no higher than 40amps, (thats the amps fuse rating), you wont need much, try upgrading the bat to chassis and the alt to bat with 4 or or pos 6awg - see how that works!
i personally run my cables seperatly, but not due to interference, but space and ease.
And blackcat is very very knowledgable about all areas of electronics, i thin Dink is right and he is an electonics engineer by profession.
Also it is intersesting the way you say balck-cat is wrong, BUT...
