well if you were to put it under a flase floor i would put 1 or 2 12v computer fans in there, as if you really push them they could go into protection from being to hot. Most modern amps will shut down before any major damage happens to them

^^ agreed, but ive only ever used 18mm. Its much nice to work with, doesnt blunten you saw balde so fast, not nearly as much dust, and i think it gives a nicer ring to the box. then again, bits more than 4 or 5 times than mdf in price!
