    Yeah we also tried that mate, and using 2 jump leads to create extra earth points in case there was an earthing problem! Its only worth just over a grand so may just flog it as spares or repairs but it would be a shame as its only recently (750 miles ago) had a brand new dephaser, all belts...

    Yes the optical port on the main board is output :( The TV does have a headphones socket and plugged into the T7900 cabled remote (which can be just in the picture at the link above) I can get one channel audio out of my speakers..............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
