D500 is indeed utter turd. I had one for 6 months and hated it. All Samsungs are pants in my opinion. K800 does very good pics. I have an N80 which gives good pics, I've got tomtom on it and 200 mp3s and about 6 full length decent quality films using Smart Movie.

Bluetooth is far more convenient and future proof than IR.

A jumper is a little plastic thing on the back that bridges metal pins on the dvd. Pull it back out and you'll see it.

Do you have the jumpers set correctly on the dvd? Primary/master on dvdr Secondary/slave on dvd/cd. Or vice versa so long as they are not both set to the same.

I said this ages ago. When I used to have a VTS I got stick (indirectly) from people on here with 1.2 Clios, calling all Saxos chav cars etc. I did then and still now see more tarted up lower spec Clios than I ever did Saxos. Clios don't even suit mods that much.

Out of interest, you ask about 172's being Pearl Black but is that what colour a 1.2 Dynamique is? I thought Pearl Black was like a supergloss black where as Dynamiques just a like solid black.

If it's a 172 bumper, ie without the centre exhaust cut outs, it will be pearl black. Not sure if they're a straight swap mind, you may need to bend the corners in for the wider arches. Defo have to do that with the front. Do a search for bumpers on here.

Agreed. Pearl black was 172 or 182 colour. Black gold was a 182 only colour. Black with flecks of gold in it.

I hated it too and went back to IE6. Personally, I don't like FireFox and thus stick with IE6.

My K reg RT only had eletric windows. (Manaul mirrors, sunroof and no PAS). Remote central locking though. I doubt it's Renault Top, Middle and Low though. Who seriously wants their entry level customers knowing the manafacturer considers the car a Low. Sounds feasible but I doubt it's true...
