I would say fair enough at 12k for fronts but not the discs really just the pads.
Rear discs and pads should be fine at 12k. Certainly shouldn't be wearing faster than the front unless he drives everywhere in reverse.
I got told on my 36k service my front brake pads are 'badly pitted'
I told the girl, they were fine when I put them in a month ago. I'll check them myself and replace if need be. Haven't bothered as I know they're fine.
Ok mate, it wasn't meant to offend anyway.
It's just that at my age of 30 I would worry things like that would be seen as a bit sad. It's fair enough if you're 20.
I like things simple and nothing to detract away from the lines of the car.
Upload the pics to photobucket.
When done, copy the url it gives for the pic.
Paste it into a reply using the icon which looks like mountains. Make sure you only have one http:// bit.
I think any stickers on cars - windows or panels just shout tackiness to me but each to their own. As much as I like this website, I wouldn't stick a sticker that size on my car adverstising a website.
All that would say to me is that the driver of that Clio is an internet geek who needs to...

You don't have a similar guide for an N70 do you?
I'd have imaged it was the same so trying to do my girlfriends phone in a similar manner I got as far as using NSS.
When I use NSS on my N80 it only picks up the phone if I have it in PC Suite connection mode.
When I connect her N70 it...
Yes and no.
I want to make sure that there's no way it can possibly get worn. I'd rather the pipe lie where it wants to lie naturally rather than force it over to one side. I actually had to apply a fair bit of pressure to move it like in the second pic.
T30 it was.
Really tight they where in.
I got three out ok but unfortunately me, Mr B**l End 2006 has rounded one of the screws off. I'm gonna have to have another go with a persuadertron tomorrow. What a pleb.
Cheers Fred.
I searched through a few threads and spotted one other suggesting T30.
I tried the flat head screwdriver but they're in tight like a motherbitch. People say you have to have the engine hot to loosen them.
Tried to modify the cover without taking the cover off.
Finding it difficult without damaging the pipe.
Do you know what size Torx bit the engine cover is? None of my bits/screwdrivers fit.
Cheers.
Just had my 172 back from it's first MOT. Failed on cv boot came loose but passed once resecured and repacked with grease.
Advisory points:
Nail in rear tyre and
Engine cover causing wear to pipe.
This one.
I can modify the cover myself but just wondering what the pipe is...
Has, once you have connected the phone correctly, it should give you the IMEI number on the bottom.
On the right hand side where you enter the product code, the box where you type, stays grey. I thought it would go black. By being grey it looks like you can't enter text but you can. Same goes...
Class!
I now have V4.0623.0.41

The hardest part was getting the phone picked up by NSS. I think I put it on General with the Data Transfer connection, though it may have been the pc suite one.
Top man Dave, cheers.
My garage is charging me £44 on Monday.
They say it's half fee ie £22 if it fails and leaves the premises before a retest.
Is this the norm or does this sound like just my garage trying it on?
Total and complete crap.
I had my centre section replaced at 2 years and 8 months old. 32k miles.
No problems.
To be honest I don't understand your garage. They do the work, bill Renault and they get their money.
Print off this thread and show them.
Complete and utter rubbish to...
It's 1p per report. Something like 0.85p each but with VAT it's like 1p each.
At first the woman said they could not refund me the cost of all the reports but I kicked off saying I should have been told.
They then gave me it back.
