A dark metallic is usually pretty good at picking out bodywork details IMO (When its nice and clean anyway!). With basic black it tends to make everything blend into one shape, so you dont appreciate the smoothed bodywork so much. Rick

Depends if you want to splash out on a flip or go with a single flat colour. My choice would be a dark metallic blue, with the bodywork smoothed it should look good. Rick

Greetings! You might get a bit of rubbing on the rear arches if you drop it 55mm but it wont be too bad. The handling becomes a lot tighter but it also becomes a bit of a b*****d over bumpy roads. Looks loads better than having steelies tho....

On a non 16v it requires quite a bit of work to get the car to sit right on 17s. Alternatively you can just fit the wider 16v arches and 17s got straight on. Rick

The option to turn it off is a good idea, would take a bit of thinking to get it to work properly but Im sure it would be possible.

I know for a fact that Dixons in Lincoln have only had a couple of Cups at most go through their hands. Theyve had a few more 172s but theyre a pretty rare sight. Theres a red one going around that looks nice, best colour for the 172 IMO.

I suppose if you were very strict on the size of the images, it would be less of a problem. Not everyone caches their images tho, and if you clear out all your temp files etc on a regular basis, your going to have to download them again.

Takes longer to load tho. Not a problem if youve got broadband but youve got to stick with the lowest common denominator, in this case the people on MODEM dial up. Still, if you dial up boys are prepared to wait for it all to load.............. Rick

Are you on about the back part of the seat or the actual cuschion bit (the thing you actually sit on!!) To take the cushion out you have to pull it up at the back so its pointing upwards and then youll see two metal bits that hook into holes in the bodywork and you just have to work them out of...

35mm is pretty much standard issue, if you want the look and retain driveability. The torsion bar only needs adjusting by one turn to level things up.

Go for a really Dark Blue. If you can afford it, get a gold flip aswell (although this is seriously more expensive that a single colour paint) If you do decide to go for black, get the BMW one, I think its the cheapest aswell because you dont have to mix the paint to get the final colour...

Id go for the Pioneer E-Motions for that sort of price, are you planning on running them off an amp?? Theyll sound a lot better if you do. Rick

It does work!! Difficult to say on the time cos the speedos going all over the shop but it looks like around 7-8s. Good going for an uphill run!!
